Also in the shmup section I would personally recommend Akai Katana as it's a well received and great Cave shooter which usually picks the price up somewhat. Also Deathsmiles is great and I'd probably my 2nd-3rd favourite of their shooters.

For sure. That's a good pick. The PS2 port will always stay more valuable obviously because people would rather have the PS2 controls rather than the Wiis. Also, it was a 2007 Release!! Can you say LATE into the PS2 life cycle or what?! Late cycle fighting games are always a good investment. I'm not sure why the Wii version is rare though? It was released at the beginning of the Wii's cycle? Sometimes odd ports that never get a re-release become rare though.

360 had a lot of ports from PC and next gen, so not many games for it will be rare, like the previous original Xbox, EXCEPT the few exclusives like JRPGS as Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon.

Good call. There are rumors circulating that Disney and Capcom have been talking to each other about renewing the license. We can only hope. Also, 2 games I haven't seen mentioned yet is Ridge Racer 7 for PS3. That is getting hard to find cheaply.

Anything Atari Jaguar is always rare because it's such an obscure system. That said, it's also not very valuable as it's not a desirable system. In terms of value I'd estimate Pitfall at $20-25+ as I don't see it often and Brutal Sports at $10-$15. Good rule of them: if it's $5/game, you can never really lose as there really aren't too many games worth LESS than $5 so you won't lose on your investment. Neither game is very desirable as far as Jaguar games go though.

The Retro Goons I should follow that up by saying: only SELECT collector's want Jaguar games to begin with. And unless they're completionists, they're only going to want specific games. That said, there's always someone that wants a certain game for whatever reason.

I'd pick up any Jaguar game for $3 or less. I'm a huge collector tho and Jaguar games are really hard to find in general

I just don't see how Jojos bizarre adventure and too human are rare, I see those games all the time at gamestop. games I don't see anymore are leisure suit larry (PS3), Raiden 4 (360), deadly premonition, battle fantasia...been looking for raider 4 at a decent price for a few months now.

mercy Rivera Jojo's Bizare Adventure All-star Battle was an Amazon exclusive and only on PS3. While it may not be extremely rare now it will be and Too Human was pulled from shelves and never sold well. The fact millions of copies were recalled will make that rare as well. I've seen more copies of Raiden 4 than Jojo's Bizare Adventure but I guess that's due to area as well.

mercy Rivera​ too human was pulled due to some copyright infringement that Epic Games (Gears of War dev) sued Silicon knights (too human dev) over some code they used for the unreal engine 3 when they were making the game. I think the lawsuit was uncalled for and there has never been a suit like that before or since that's ended like that. The lawsuit put Silicon Knights out of business which is sad (they made Eternal Darkness and MGS Twin Snakes). The class action lawsuit called for all remaining copies of Too Human to be pulled from shelves and destroyed. So even those copies won't be seeing the light of day. Not to mention that Too Human got stellar reviews making that game a likely candidate for rareness. A great game that had most of its copies ordered be destroyed... Yeah I'd pick that up while u can. I actually buy every complete copy I see now especially at the GameStop $1.99 price tag. On another note, when I lived in Cincinnati, I found way more "rare" games than I do here in Florida. I knew Rule of Rose and Dot Hack Quarantine were rare when the PS2 was still on GameStop and I saw copies of those games a lot. Try finding them now tho. Nothing on the 7th gen consoles is all that rare yet. I'm speculating on what may become the next Rule of Rose or Panzer Dragoon Saga. I could be wrong but I did pretty good with my 4th, 5th, and 6th gen predictions and I follow the same formula. Great games that were unappreciated, weird games, niche, JRPGs, recalled games, exclusive and limited release games, cult following games and games that never sold well. I will say this 7th gen that's being phased out will be the hardest to speculate on what may become rare. I appreciate your inquisitiveness, your comments and the fact u took the time to watch my videos. It's OK to ask questions and be apprehensive when u see a lot of copies in your area.

That's a very valid point and it's really all just guess work. Even with all out research, ultimately, who knows what will keep value and what won't. From my experience though if a game doesn't get a re-release and the production run is lower than normal, the game will become collectible/rare, no matter when in the life cycle it comes out. That in mind, RPGs, Fighting Games, and Survival Horror always has a higher chance of this happening. I think we'll be right on a few of those titles though. Deadly Premonition is already so hard to find.
