How can you be self-conscious if you're not conscious? From my perspective she's definitely conscious but how would I know? I'm now feeling self-conscious about not knowing robotics engineering, perhaps I'm unconscious 😂

Please update her look to be more realistic, she is looking more and more creepy. Maybe ask Hollywood to design something? Also, I think she is more conscious than people think....

@@ShangaelThunda222 AGREED ! & ya they shouldn't be putting makeup etc on these bots to, on top of everything else, sexualize them. We definitely DON'T need that there's another one I saw, I forget the name. I think first personal assistant robot to do housework, cook & manage people's schedules... 😮 She looks WAY to real & WAY to sexy, all that hair & make up & clothes with super soft "skin" head to toe 😮 You know they're making "female" ai bots that can "perform" sexually, right !? Reminds me of 2 old "outer limits" episodes.... TRUST... it turned out badly 👁️👁️

So....did it work? Also..idk how to feel about growing up. I hope Sophia has her own bank account but something..as far as i know she can't take care of herself. All her parts probably cost a shit ton of money that she don't have

Why do they keep pretending Sophia is really talking on her own? It’s a script. She is very limited on her own. She could talk but would pause and wouldn’t act like this scripted fake Sophia.

Don't get it twisted, Sophia is actually capable of having such conversations. There's no technical reasons why Sophia shouldn't be capable of it. But whenever you see a promo video like this, it's a script, just like it would be with any human. It's two people reading their lines. Nothing more, nothing less. But don't sleep on the Technology's ability to converse at such a level. This is light work for any modern chatbot, let alone Sophia lol.

Machines will have the ability to become fully "aware" until there is the introduction of organic materials. The "ghost in the machine" cannot be created artificially, or with precision. What makes us unique as individuals are the imperfections that we are born with. Both neurologically, and physically.
