Indeed. One of a kind, and perhaps the chief reason why I can't imagine there ever being a new _LoK_ game.

Gabriel Gonzales exactly? Why was it cut? Were they in such a rush to release the game? I would have delayed the game and made it the best it could be. With that it would have been one extra level and one extra boss fight and would have made the game a little more longer and better. it always kind of bugged me that turel was the only brother that you didn't fight in this game and the Elder totally ignores it it's almost like he just disappears and the elder god forgot about him and razial forgot too. They should have just put turel and his territory in the game

@@ajhaley5483 Maybe they ran out of money and Eidos pushed for a particular release date. But at the very least we got to see Turel in Definace so there´s that unlike the human priestess who worshiped the vampire, remember that human village in the game? Apparently that was supposed to be the entrance to her stronghold. Its to bad the series ended where it did, i would personally have LOVED to see it continue especially since the next game Blood Omen 3 would have seen us explore the Hylden dimension and learn about the world they where banished to and how their society was dying, the wards and everything they had set up to hold back the decay from the dimension they where exile to was failing. Man that would have been a great game to explore but unfortunately Eidos deemed that the game wouldn´t meet the sales expectation and scrapped it alongside the entire series.

Actually Soul Reaver and the LoK series has become a true "underground cult classic". The content so far, although massive, is exausted, but the story in itself is a catalyst to some real deep and complex discussions (the LoK reddit is filled with them). Giving it's nature, no new game would do justice (no wonder they changed Dead Sun to the multiplayer-only Nosgoth), and would be far too complicated to figure out a conclusion to the narrative after Defiance, without Hennig and the original team. I believe even they would suffer to achieve that, after so many years. But the series ages like a fine wine. The atmosphere, the music, the lovecraftian art-style, the unparalleled dialogue and voice acting, combined with a story, chronology and mythology as complicated as the old ones in real life to figure out, gives to LoK a place among the great. You can see if a person is good to spend time talking with, based on their taste for the LoK series haha.

He was growing tired of killing his brothers. Course i doubt Raziel would show Turel mercy if he found out that it was Turel who killed the Razielim. Not even on the orders of Kain, purely Turel’s doing.

Yeah you missed. He spoke that when Raziel kills Turel and absorbs his soul, he absorbs a portion of Hylden into him

He was already dead in defiance which was at the time before soul reaver thats why he never show up in soul reaver

@@thekinggamer488 He was killed in Blood Omen 1. He was transported there and was also being used by the Hilden.

Well water has the same effect than acid on vampires, maybe their senses adapted to smell this kind of danger.

In Blood Omen he's Hask 'ak Gik. You find a dark scripture about him in avernus. When you find the time streaming device in Avernus in BO 1 Ariel says the Pillar Guardian of Dimension stole it from Moebious to summon creatures from other periods in time.

@@Ieatpaste23 Thanks for your answer. That's interesing, but also a bit weird. If it's possible to bring people from any point in time, too much can be modified from time. I'm aware that time goes back to how it is, but it does mean that by moving Raziel around in time you can create new paradoxes.

@@kevinallain2415 The thing about LOK time travel is all of these events ALWAYS happened. That's why having 2 versions of the Soul Reaver in one place is important, it's the only thing powerful enough to create a paradox. The Nemies always takes over Nosgoth. Raziel always killed Kain at William's Tomb. Raziel always got absorbed into the Reaver after killing his human self. What changed it was having 2 reavers in one place. Kain kills William the Just before he can become a warmonger, the result is the genicide against the vampires leaving Kain the last vampire. It also leads to his death by Raziel in William's Tomb. In William's Tomb Raziel spares Kain which leads to Kain saving Raziel. The result of this is Defiance and Blood Omen 2.
