RIP Kofe and also my sweet late daughter Kelsey who died of an OD 6-13-20 forever 29. I love this song - great song & great message in memory of a loved one!!!!!!!
Playhooky I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my son on 6-23-20 to suicide. He was 32. I share your grief. I have been playing this song on repeat all day torn between an ecstatic joy the lyrics give me and the abject pain that comes with even feeling that joy. I think it will forever be my go to song. I hope it gives you some comfort. What a road we’re traveling. 😢
I absolutely LOVE this song. Been swirling around in my head since it came out. Just lost my sister and she didn't get to hear this song. Thank you to you fine humans for sharing your craft.
I rarely dissect lyrics but this song has such a joyful, easygoing vibe that it is one of my favourites from the four I Am The Moon records. I smiled when Susan made the introduction in this video. Kofi is still inspiring beautiful music long after his passing.
@Frank Dux really? Frank, really? They own the beacon like the Allman's once. Difference from the Allman shows. People dance. It is the only thing I hated about Allman beacon shows. Who can sit like an opera house during this?
I was at the last ABB show at the Beacon, year 45. Bought a $225 ticket from a guy getting out of a cab. Paid $400. 12th row. Then we proceeded into the Beacon Bar next door where he proceeded to buy me several rounds of drinks. We all, 5 of them and me, hung out after at the Amsterdam around the corner. At the end of the night we hugged, grabbed each other's faces and and said "goodnight my brother!" almost simultaneously. I have never seen him since.
Pumped to see ttb getting more active with social media and podcasting. Broken record was great, pls do more! So many more people need to hear the greatness that is this band and the goodness of the people in it
