You're exactly right She knew her way around the fretbòard a very longtime ago. I can distinctly hear Derek's tone Derek Trucks as your mentor. She's got others but he's.the main string. I'm really satisfied at how well these 4 records are engeneered and beautiful inserts and covers, but yes; Derek Trucks is cloning her.😊

Susan's playing is definitely kicked upto another level. They should feature more of her playing. The telly would be a distinct sound against the hum bucking Gibson sg.
They come and go but the Humbuckers have integrity. I also think Susan was mindful to keep a balance, so as not to become "The Susan Tedeschi Band". Wanting the band to be a partnership. And a beautiful one it is!
Great show! I saw them in The Netherlands, but the whole time I felt the stage was too dark, and hardly could see anything. Regardless of that, the music was fantastic. :)
Sounds to me like Susan's soloing has been developing by leaps and bounds over the past year or two, and judging by Derek's face he's noticed that too🤘

I saw Susan open for the Allman Brothers back in 2000 - believe me, she can play. She has been at a high level for a long time. She had a blues quartet. Keys bass drums and her. She can kill it.
