Hi, nice video… I have a bmw 318D e90 end of 2009 and recently my radio professional do not work. I have check the red fuse back of the radio (10 amp) and it’s ok. what other fuse can I check? Many thanks

Need help....I have the same car layout dashboard on my 06 BMW 330i e90 my CCC worked fine for 5 years with good music etc. 2020 my CCC display gone bad came on one day turn off the car came back to the car and it doesn't come on for 3 months. So now I bought a new CCC display hooked everything up but no sound? What can cause it? Does the CD drive and navigation drive have a Aux in back of the units?

My 2007 530i started letting out a loud ringing noise one day on my drive home from work. I had music on and it cut off and the ringing started. Once I got home and shut off the car the ringing continued. I just left it ringing. The next day the ringing had stopped but I have not had any sound from the radio since then. Any idea what the issue is?

Did u figure this out yet? I got a 318i 2011 and my aux/usb port aint working and i have no idea what fuse is for this. And i dont have a fiber optic cable either

I have the same problem! Please reply if you find an answer. I’m going to buy some fuses and test if it’s a blown fuse. My alternator, battery, and water pump failed on me while driving and when I went to repair it. Cost me $2400 total and when I went to plug in my AUX to listen to music, I noticed my speakers weren’t working. I reset the codes for my iDrive and I am going to run test in 3 days but right now I’m going to test the fuse. Hopefully you find an answer. My BMW is 2007 328i 4 dr sedan

@@joeynyc1000 Thats pretty cool to hear. I actually fixed my speakers. Turns out my fuse was blown and I believe the mechanic that fixed my alternator and battery switched the fuses Amperage as well. I replaced the blown fuse and my speakers began to work.

My radio works fine but there’s no sound at all, also my car doesn’t have an sos light either. On top of that, I checked the fiber optic wire connected to the amp and it flashes red about 3 times and then stops. I’m not sure what it means so can anyone tell me what might be the problem?

@@litaas9444 ima take a Wilde guess and say the amplifier needs to be replaced but then again it could be a fuse but ima check both out

what were the symptoms? no sound but non sos light? I just installed a new nav/radio unit and now no sound! maybe this fuse?

Still never figured it out. After the Nav unit died I still had sound from the system for things like the seat belt warning dinger but after I replaced the nav unit, I lost all sound. The used nav unit I bought on eBay works fine but now no sound. I’m thinking either I bought one that is not compatible or it was faulty when I bought it. I’ve just sort of given up for the moment. It’s a pain in the ass.

@@fleeper101 Its probably going to be one of two things. Either it is the amp in the trunk or its the nav system. If you pull the nav system and you see a fiber optical signal getting to the amp connectors, its probably the amp. If there are no red light coming from the fiber optics its probably the nav system. When my nav system died `i still had noise through the system like seat belt warning etc. If you dont get that `id suspect that amp. The amp is a big problem on those cars because water can easily get into that area and short it out. Hope that helps

Help!! My radio turns on, no sos light, sound is very muffled but has really loud bass, speakers work because I took them out and tested them separately and as far as I can see the fuses aren’t blown

Same this is happening to mine. One day it will be fine the next I cannotbhear any base at all and no sound from the rear only the front of the car.

Mila i had looked at the sub under the passenger seat and I played music I heard it playing but no bass coming out so light pushed down the face of the sub and it started producing bass but was crackling. so pretty much the subwoofer is blown so ima replace them both sub with a car from the junkyard
