@@vicenteb531 No, one third Chris Cornell, one third Alain Johannes, one third Natasha Schneider (RIP). Never forget Natasha Schneider, her keyboard playing and backing vocals were all over Euphoria Morning. That's also what is missing from this live version, her beautiful voice doubling Alain.
Alain Johannes is the greatest musician most people have never heard of. TCV, Sound City, QOTSA and more are much better with him in it. I'm so gutted 11 never had a hit album, more people should be exposed to their great music.
Alain has a project nowadays where they play lots Eleven´ songs. The guy is playing with two musicians (keyboard and drums) from his native country, Chile. They have played a lot of gigs around Chile and Argentina during the last 3-5 years (including Lollapalooza Chile 2018). I heard that they will go touring around the world soon. The name of that project is "Alain Johannes Trio". Something interesting is that the logo (or symbol) of the band has one more stick ("|") along the double stick ("||", meaning number 11) that he used to represent Eleven. So it becomes "111"...Trio. Nice.
I saw Alain and Natasha when they were Chris Cornell's band on the Euphoria Morning tour. They were epic, and in my mind, Alain stole the show. There's a vid on YT of him throwing a solo from that tour. Epic player.
Ha-ha, you can see that Dave is sort of finally confessing how much he adores Alain and his music, after all this time. This song is HUGE! Watch out for the live version Alain made in Chile, it's THE best (on YT).
Great vid! I still miss Natasha. Her death doesn't effect me personally and I never even seen Eleven live, but she is one of those musicians that I really miss. RIP Natasha.
