I've used the UI16 and the DL32s, and would go with the DL. The routing features on the DL are much more robust. You can record multiple tracks rather than just LR. I think the preamps are better than the 16. I do like the UI GUI better, though. I hate the glow/grow feature on the DL. That just makes it harder to get the fader where you want it. I'm not sure how it would compare to the UI24. I've never used one of those. That would be a better comparison I think.
