*Rory.* Thanks 😊 Blistering🔥🔥🔥 This shows how incredible Chris' range and power were still, even after SG reformed. Hard to get the energy of a proper live show in a TV studio performance, but they killed it. Also, props to MFC for the backup vocal. I do want to reach back in time and slap the sound guy here for the mix, and Chris' low mic volume. I think this is the first time you've reacted to this song (you did the Chris solo 'Steel Rain' before...) Nala is telling you that she's missing screen time.❤ 🐾🐕

It must be my birthday. First Birth Ritual, and now this. You should definitely check out the studio versions of both at some point. Live is amazing, but man, those studio versions of younger Chris just letting it all go is simply breathtaking... Thanks Lydia for creating the playlist and thanks to Rory for the always-insightful reactions. As for Black Rain, nearly the whole song is up high like that, so it's certainly quite the feat to see Chris performing such a song live in his later years. I've already seen this video so I knew what was coming, and it was fun watching your face.

You should really check out Chris Cornell’s brother Peter singing he sounds eerily similar in my opinion. His band was Black Market Radio….. some great tunes are Better than a Killer, Big Stones, Suicide Parlor and Link. I think you’ll enjoy them🤘🏾

The thing about Chris towards the end of his career, his voice would be fresh during the beginning of a tour, and get rougher at the end. He picked his spots for higher ranged songs! Thanks for another great one
