It’s not rotten it’s just really ripe. Mine was browner than that but mine was left in the fridge for a while to and turned brown in the fridge . Texture and flavor was even better .

They say that black is mold. I got one that wasn’t even black, just dark, but it tasted like a bad onion in some parts. Not what it’s supposed to taste like.
