A truly wonderful try from the Blue Bulls on 68 minutes, it really was one of those, 'Try Of The Season' contenders without any doubts. The 'pressure-play' long range penalty that they slotted on the 75th minute followed by the dying seconds turn-over by the Bulls defence nailed it. The Blue Bulls can hold their heads high and proud, in the knowlegde that they beat a Springbok team that were vying for recognition from their selectors in order to get a Test start. A historically significant episode in the history of the Blue Bulls was played out on this day.
Agree...wont be long before he is Pollard's backup..Think after the BIL series Steyn will retire (at least from the Boks)and Jantjies probably wont make the cut anymore... Dont get me wrong..Jantjies a brilliant Super rugby player but he has never quite been dominant in Test matches
@@lakmedebiles7774 very talented but 1 dimensional which is tricky to work at test level, goosen is great short term but one of abner kade curwin n jordan hendrikse must come through
_This_ was more like a South Africa 'A' side. Handful of nailed-on Springboks, but mostly potentials. Well played Bulls, and Mr Jake White is an excellent coach. Outfoxed the fox!
Yes, for sure. Jake White is a Master of his trade. The English would love to have him go coach their 1st XV instead of "Yeh mate". Jake would be the answer to their lack of consistency.
As a Bull, the last pass looked forward from Goosen, but so also did the last pass from in the first try from the A side. So I guess we just got the luck off the draw this time around. Lekker rugby
I love this. It goes to show how good the south african teams are. But man how did you win the world cup.? With that sort of performance i dnt think south africa would even make the playoffs at a world cup.
Deffos looked forward. Big bulls fan but gotta call it for what it is. Ball looked like it was off loaded chicken wing style back but it was caught infront. Short distance don't see how it could've drifted forward with momentum?
My springbok team for first test 1. Kitsoff 2. Marx 3. Malherbe 4. Etsebeth 5. Mostert 6. Van staden 7. Du Toit 8. Wiese 9. De klerk 10. Pollard 11. Mimpimpi 12. Dallende 13. Am 14. Kolbe 15. Le roux 16.bongi not fit Dweba 17. Ox 18.Koch 19. Orie 20. Smith 21. Jantjies herchell 22. Steyn morne 23. Fassi
@@thijssteeg6506 i think he's just tried another sport in a "group" one Lol (And if i'm not wrong, Romero's join another MMA competition called Bellator)
Goosen offloade was Cleary forward but bulls do deserve the win more hungry... This is awake up call for players that wants a springbok cap again lions
@@kingz6649 the SA test team (the springboks) are playing the lions this weekend. The lions usually play a few other matches before playing the proper test team
Well done gooseneck and zaamo, nice to see them back in s.a..... replace kwagga with nizaam in springbok squad, and goosen can replace either jantjies or steyn!!!
Not gonna happen. Coach has already selected his team. To kick two or three out (in a handful of guys who played terribly) and replace them would look bad.
Nizaam going back to wasps..not valued as a player by s.a rugby, too much brains for the way the boks play...he might just do something out of "structure"🤣...hell b outstanding once again at wasps..best of luck bro, most skilled ,highest rugby iq of any looseforward in this country..majorly underated.best of luck with the rest of the journey.🤲
I cant believe this is the south africa team , they just lost against a provincial team , not even a international team , what is going on with this team , disapointed to say the least😤
This isn't the Springbok team, this is the South Africa 'A' team, still they should have done better, but it is a far cry from the full strength Springbok team...so no need to panic haha
Just to let you know the blues and highlanders both beat the British and irish lions and the Hurricanes drew with them back in 2017 so it's not uncommon for club teams to beat national teams. Just gotta do a little bit more research before writing👍
If you really think that Jake White did something special to win the game you don't know much about it. How is Goosen's brilliance anything to do with White. Anyway SA A could have won if taken the kicks. Clearly they worked on other aspects than winning the game. .
