Ireland are one hell of a team. As a Boks supporter - I love the Irish team. Less so when they play us. But they have some phenomenal players. And just refuse to go away, they do not know when they are beaten!! Also.....Ireland is responsible for some of the BEST rugby in the last 2 years. Ireland v France (2023); Ireland v Boks (2023); Ireland v ABs (2023); Ireland v France (2024); Ireland v England (2024) and Ireland v Boks (2024). Some bloody outstanding rugby!!

Yeah, I am a Saffa and there was no crushed Ireland. They are a formidable team and should be respected as such. If there was 15mins more to the game, Ireland could have taken it as they were in it till the very end. That being said, loving Brown's influence on the Saffa game. Very exciting.
Well said. A lot of these pundits and former players were humbled on Saturday. Ireland know how to beat the Boks. Last 5 games between the two sides- 4 wins for Ireland, only 1 win for the Boks is enough evidence to back up that claim.
Ok crushed is definitely a little heavy handed. As a South African I am chuffed we won, but if a few decisions had gone differently, we could very well be discussing a different result. I do think the springboks were the more dominant side, yet they again didn’t turn entries into the 22 to points. (Something to remedy) I admit as well that Pollard missing 9 points from the tee with the game as it is, would make the result look even more impressive for the Boks. Fine margins, rub of the green on some tight calls. Every educated Boks fan would admit that the game was much tighter than some are suggesting. Kings parks here we go!
I agree, boks are awesome fighting for every ball and ballistic speed, they dominated the physical battle, but the TMO calls really decided the outcome, closer inspection of the calls made by the TMO where he had time to check all went against Ireland, if those calls are correctly called Ireland win, Ireland played amazing to potentially win the game, a real credit to the team. But 'crushed' is laughable.
The better team won, but keep in mind that Crowley also missed 7 points off the tee and Ireland could have had 2 other try’s that we disallowed and gifted one (well taken) to SA. So you can wear what ever jersey you like and come up with different results. End of the day SA deserved the victory. Just glad we have another chance next week to try to conquer the mountain again. Can’t wait.
@@mvumenimzimela3590 My point was… that Ireland kept up a great 80 min fight against Springboks team who replaced forwards. Bringing on fresh legs should mean absolute destruction by the Boks. Give Ireland credit for holding that score back.
Come now guys. Crushed? No way. Was a close game. Could we have scored more points, sure. Could Ireland have scored more as well, absolutely. Nice idea with the little crowd there, but just not working at the moment, maybe have them be more interactive with the panel, and give them a beer as well!
Crazy . That was a very close game that in the end a couple of TMO decisions that were marginal calls decided the test . Great game , roll on the next .

Im irish and obviously am biased towards my own team but you would be a fool on both sides to not admire both of these teams capability. South Africa played amazingly well while not even at 70% and so did ireland considering we are missing the players who make our team what it is. I will say one thing though, for a team that has not beaten Ireland for 8 years, you have NO right putting "Ireland Crushed" in the thumbnail. Ireland got over the white wash more times than you guys in your own backyard. Ireland put tries on you all of the way up to the 80th minute AND the only one try you got that wasn't gifted to you was in the first 5 mins. Even with Irish injuries you will see this weekend will be different.

Great game both teams gave it their all, ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED :) Gutted we lost, some bad injuries but hopefully we have a bit of depth these days to make saturday a good occasion again. Keep the beers going boys.

Put the audience in front of the guys and maybe switch the camera to them now and then. The major benefit is the crowd reactions(laughs etc). Currently its a bit creepy. Otherwise, great show as always!
Don’t worry cupcake - you just don’t understand SA politics. We aren’t allowed to pick on merit like the rest of the world, our teams heave to average 50% players of colour…but by the time we get to Bok level that’s not a problem because we have enough players of colour who make it on merit, like Siya, Ox, Bongi etc. So don’t get excited, we will continue to kick your ass for years to come.
Unfortunately we are obligated to have a quota coach at that level. Would not read too much into that. They will be world beaters when they reach senior level, we know how to breed champions.

Let me first say that the Boks deserved to win and their defense was very good and powerful, especially in the first half. Having said that, they created very little in attack and less than Ireland who scored 3 legit tries and should have had 4. The Boks scored one very good try - the first one. The rest of the tries they were basically gifted by LOWE making 2 awful mistakes. I don;t think the Boks should get too over confident. You were also at home and at altitude. Also, Ireland were missing two of the their best backs.
The refs had a super tough job in this one. Both teams were really pushing it physically. Absolute battle. Congrats Ireland. In 26 games they’ve only lost 3 times. Sounds like an AB’s stat.

Don’t fall into that sort of title. It’s terrible for your reputation. If Ireland played a slightly better version of the same game, with a little more precision, they would have “smothered the bokes all night to a silent crowd.” I don’t think you would run that title.
Question! Why have the rent-a-crowd there? Such a small group, it would have been more interesting to bring them into the discussion and engage with ex-players and get the fans actual views also. We should be wary - our defense has always been top notch. This expansive move is creating gaps for our opponents to score "soft tries". Razor must be thrilled, he knows NZ can whip our butts in Sept if we try to play their style. Yikes.
Smashed is a bit strong. The top 4 are only separated by who takes the high balls better and gets a few 50/50 decisions. Its never been closer. Recent history ireland v Boks both games 1 score, England v NZ both games 1 score. WC final 1 score, england n France v the boks 1 score, NZ v ireland 1 score, boks v ire pool play 1 score 😂😂
You are correct in saying 6 forwards on at once is within the laws. but the law is an ass. Substitution was introduced to cover injury and for tactical maneuverings- RSA are absolutely correct doing what they do but it is not in the spirit of the law.

CJ is the all time SA legend for Munster and Ireland. JDV was a passenger, so was Damien De Allende. Didn't soak it up and took it lightly despite being class players. And it's not just because Stander played for Ireland, it's because he was man of the match every other week. Absolute warrior.
