Is Red for the blood lost during our struggle, white is for the white population, black for the black population,Yellow is our minerals, blue is for our skies, green for our vegetation , and the arrows are showing that we coming from different backgrounds but working towards one goal a better 🇿🇦 for all❤

The red, white and blue are also the colours of the dutch flag in order, with the ANCs colours of green, yellow and black symbolising all of south africa moving forward as one

This flag was not the 1st choice, they went for this flag during the 1994 Inauguration until another was decided on. People loved it and it wasn't changed.

The flag became the official flag in 1994 when Mandela was elected president. Mandela was released 4 years prior in 1990 after 27 years (18 of which spent on robben island). He was arrest in the early 60s on chatges of treason for the terrorist acts the anc at the time commited such as the bombing of municipal buildings (at night). The period between his release (1990) and being elected was the negotiations period between the apartheid government and the anc

Black, yellow and green is colour of ANC Red, white, blue is colour of netherland ( country of majority or white people comes )

Red is for the blood shed during the struggle against apartheid, green is for our fertile land, yellow (gold) is for the gold and other minerals from our mines, blue is for the Atlantic and Indian oceans and water sources, black is for the population of African descent, white is for the White population, 6:21 population, that arrow like merging is for south Africans of different races races coming together and moving forward as one nation

Black, green and gold represents the native population. Red, white and blue is the British union jack. Orange, white and blue is Dutch. The SA flag RED is therefore a compromise blend of Anglo--Dutch. Put together you get the SA flag.

Technically the colours don't really officially have a meaning and is just a mixture between the ANC flag and the old Transvaal Republic flag, but generally we all give unofficial meanings for it like what you and other comments here explained

why Lie, the best is to Say You don't know. or ask us us who are real mzansi people, it resembles Rainbow as we are a RAIMBOW NATION flag. and all colour each have it's own meaning.
