South African Reacts: Remembering the 1970s in America! 

Hey Folks! I absolutely loved reacting to this! the 1970s were amazing! Hope you all are having an amazing week :)

This is a fun video. I was born in 1969 and I remember every one of these. We had the avocado green appliances and burnt orange couches. I had a Micky Mouse Club lunchbox, my brother's was Space 1999. Patty Hearst is the first big story I can remember hearing on the news and all the adults discussing. There was a big block party on the street where we lived for the bicentennial. I still watch Schoolhouse Rock now and then. I learned a lot from those songs and they were so catchy. They made simple math a breeze. And nothing beats the music of the 70s. Good times, fun memories.

I was born in the 60s and yes, growing up back then was a whole different ball game. I was one of the kids who was on his bike constantly, and never even thought of wearing protective gear. I still have gravel in my knees from falling off and skinning them. Great memories. Keep ‘em coming!

Born in 76. So I was a kid in the 80’s. Teen in the 90’s.

Man you make me feel old.. I graduated High School in 77. Watched the Brady bunch and had a CB Radio. And our kitchen was Avocado green! Yes they lasted forever!

I got married in 1972 and bought a house. I was only 19. My house payment was $176. Very good days.

I was born in 59, so literally grewup in the 70". Fantastic time!

Brady Bunch was a bring your sense of ridiculous humor with you. That family was so good it made you grind your teeth and laugh at the same time. Was never one of my favorites, but I can still say Marsha, Marsha, Marsha...😅 with the rest of 70s kids. The 70s were a wonderful time to be a teenager. We had a blast. Music has never been so incredible, and the clothes were so good... super tight hip hugger jeans and bodysuit tops...no crack showing for us fashionable young ladies. I love your channel.

I have the entire series on DVD, of course everyone should watch it. We have the yellow stove. Tang is still sold.

As little kids we watched every episode of The Brady Bunch and loved it❤

I was born in 1950, my childhood and teens in the 50’s/60’s and my 20’s in the 70’s…I can think of no better time to grow up!!!

I was born in 1964 so the 70s was my informative years being in Elementary school at the time. I was the age of Cindy, the youngest girl on the Brady Bunch.

I was born in the early 60's and the 70's were mostly my teen years. I loved The Brady Bunch. I still have a macrame owl. We usually had the Harvest Gold appliances. Yes. They lasted way longer. I had a Scooby Doo lunch box and thermos. Stopped using it in High School. My mom sold Avon and Tupperware at different times. Tang was yummy. That wasn't The Flintstones. That was the spinoff Pebbles and Bam Bam.

I was born in the early 70s, I remember most of all this growing up some memories are vague though. I was a 80's teen and i gotta say I loved the 80's. It was an awesome time to grow up. Things were alot simpler then and we'd do stuff back then that would flip people out nowadays. The Patty Hurst thing i slightly remember , i paid no attention but i remember it being talked about by the adults, and yeah today we call it Stockholm syndrome.

The 1950s and 60s and 70s and 80s what's the best time in history. The music from the 1970s in my opinion is the best in history. The next best would be the 1980s and 1960s

Farrah Fawcett was the best. I've thought about her a few times.

I was born in the early 60s so I'm pretty familiar with basically everything in this video. I would say (however) that the 80s are my favorite decade maybe because I was older and that's when my Real life began.
