A 10-hour time-lapse from our front window as the construction effort moves from our street into our front yard. The hole being dug next to the tree is 11 ft deep! This is the 2nd day of recording; the project has been ongoing since early Spring 2020.
This work is being done in the Eastmoor community of Mid-East Columbus, OH. The goal of the project is to replace approximately 16,530 ft of existing cast iron 6" and 8" mains (some 90 years old, having a high break frequency) with new 8" pipe. Fire hydrant replacement and customer water service transfers are also part of this project.
