A 10-hour time-lapse from our front window as the construction effort continues into our front yard (action starts about halfway through). Inside the 11 ft deep hole dug next to the tree, they use augers to drill some smaller holes. This is the 3rd day of recording; the project has been ongoing since early Spring 2020.
This work is being done in the Eastmoor community of Mid-East Columbus, OH. The goal of the project is to replace approximately 16,530 ft of existing cast iron 6" and 8" mains (some 90 years old, having a high break frequency) with new 8" pipe. Fire hydrant replacement and customer water service transfers are also part of this project.
