Previously NOTORIOUS East 149th Street and 3rd Avenue in the South Bronx NY is actually a much nicer place to be now with good people. This area of the Melrose neighborhood is also known as The Hub because it is a converging point of East 149th Street, 3rd Avenue, Willis Avenue, and Melrose Avenue. The Hub of South Bronx has undergone major facelifts over the years and it is no longer synonymous with the urban decay you might have seen in old pictures. The Bronx NY is filled with surprises.
