South East Army Headquarters (Historic Document) 

Not sure if you travel out to the Hastings area, But if you get that chance as it's my home town, but I live in Liverpool now, you will find 3 very large tunnels, Air raid shelters, I used to go in them when I was a school kid but was s....t scared as they went back for miles and miles. perhaps one day you may get the chance to go inside them would be great to see them again and why I was such a coward not to go all the way back.....lol. I'm sure your busy so it's just a I hope so. keep up the fantastic work.

The date set in stone at the 3:27 marker probably dates from the time that the quarry was in use.

Too bad it has been sealed off. However those flat roofs and collapsed ceiling in spots did not look particularly safe.

How do you get here? I’ve searched before but can’t find the entrance
