Your channel is awesome. I just got back from a father/son trip and we loved it. Got some ideas from your vids and we rented bikes by Tunnel creek cafe, swam at Hidden beach & Sand harbor park, visited Heavenly village. Thank you for all the info.
Thanks for great suggestions for budget hotel and food options. Just got here on a last minute trip. Did Eagle lake hike today and I have to say it's one of the most picturesque spot anywhere. I will put it near the top of reward/effort ratio for any hike :)
Love your Summer Guide. Thanks to your recommendation on Sandharbor on your previous video, I've been visiting that spots 3 times this summer already and still haven't gotten enough of it yet. Will definitely be back before Falls to try those local coffee house and clear kayaking. 💕 😘
Thank you for all the hard work you put into making these super helpful videos! Your soothing voice makes it so easy to stick through watching the whole video and not get stressed out about coming up with a good plan!
Hello Gabriella I was wondering if their was a boat ride in South Lake Tahoe? Also if it’s a yes is their any chance you know the price? And if you can respond before July 1 that would be amazing
❤love the trails😊which you would recommend for a hiker with a knee problems...l can tackle the steep track but, rocky stairs is a no-no😊 Do u have the cabin or lodge contact numbers near Camp Richardson or Pope beach? Thanks😊 from Malaysia.
Sand harbor might be a good bet, there is a fee but you can just walk to beach from the parking lot...it does get ready crowded on summer weekends though
I stayed at Mont Bleu (not sure how to spell it off top of my head) about 11 years ago. It was a good deal and lots to do within walking distance. Not sure if they do dinner cruises on the lake anymore but if they I think that would be a good idea to show viewers.
As usual you hit it out of the park! Been wondering where you were. The Beacon's RUM RUNNER is one of my favorite drinks on the lake and you can't beat the scenery being right on the beach.Hope to see you on the Rubicon! Take care. How is the family?
this video ended up taking forever to make ha!!! i wanted to get it out last month..oh well! hopefully ill be a little quicker this summer ...everything is good! i hope your well scott!
I like to hike down to Emerald Bay and rent a kayak there. Put ashore on Fannette Island and climb around. Also cool to kayak from Camp Richardson over toward Baldwin Beach. There are some shallow areas where you can get out and stand. It's kind of cool.
Thanks for the tips! I'm planning to visit the area in a couple of weeks and even though I am driving up there from the southern California area I was planning on just using public transit once there to save on gas and avoid having to fight for parking spaces (and to help minimize carbon pollution while there). Its mentioned in the video that it's not a good idea to depend on taxi or Uber for getting around the beaches and trails. Why is that and does that only apply to those methods of transportation or does it apply to the bus transit as well? I think I read online that Public transit is free right now so that's also a reason I want to take advantage of it. I could still use my rental car if necessary but was hoping to minimize it's use while there. Can anyone advise on this strategy and whether it's recommended or not?
They have something called Link, which is a free bus and I belive that is fine for getting around South Lake Tahoe, ( i havent used it) but if you want to venture out a bit and visit other parts of the lake, I think a a car is probably best.
I'm driving to south lake tahoe from Houston ,Texas. I'm looking for good authentic food that's native to lake tahoe. I heard the German food is really good 👍. What's some places you recommend to eat and see?
Gabriela has video about 5 gorgeous beaches on Lake Tahoe : one of them is Sand Harbor-great for small kids. It has wooden boardwalk, which leads to other nice beaches as well. Check that video. Zepher beach is also very safe and beautiful( a bit rocky)Have a good time with your little one:)
That was an excellent video GV. Not to take away from this great video, but ski run used to have ski boat rentals and fishing guides or charter boats for the awesome Lake Tahoe fishing. 4th of July fireworks is way cool coming up too. Just a couple summer things I think about. Oh, did I mention the awesome concerts.
Thank you Angelo I always love your perspective! i still haven't rented a boat yet but i really want to do that this year, and it will be my first time in Tahoe during 4th of july so hopefully it will be fun!
@@GabriellaViola Are you an experienced boat operator? I would not go out without an experienced boat operator. Especially on a busy boating day like the 4th.
@@GabriellaViola Last September I pass through Carson City on my way to Virginia City. Good looking town. Love how I crossed over into NV it was FJB and pro 2nd amendment bumper stickers and flags everywhere. Looking to leave retarded controlled California in the coming years, not a liberal. Can't be a American here. Criminals have more rights than victims and taxes are just bonkers in Cali. Carson City would be perfect for me, snowboarding in Tahoe, Eastern Sierra to the south, and desert fun to the east.
