Despite the Class 466 Networkers are 2-Car. I still find them very useful and do work on their own as well working alongside with the Class 465 Networkers.
Personally I think they should have been made into 3 cars. That way they could do 6 cars on longer routes or allowing them to do independant services without the need to be with 465s all the time. They could be fitted with disabled toilets and so on. But I guess back then they weren't thinking about future proofing them when creating them.
We need the 707s to run down to Gillingham from Cannon Street instead of terminating at Gravesend. (Calling at: London Bridge, Deptford, Greenwich, Charlton, Woolwich Dockyard, Woolwich Arsenal, Abbey Wood, Dartford, Greenhithe (For Bluewater), Gravesend, Higham, Strood, Rochester, Chatham, & Gillingham.)
@NFS_Solomon yeah, maybe, but in some instances it souded like nothing 3 . I've been on 466 /brel combos before when they aren't in full power. But u agree they can be dead weight. The 466s just showing how they are underpowered compared to /9s.
