I'm from Germany and I was a big fan of the Dallas series in the 80's. I just watched all the episodes again. Thank you for your interesting and beautiful video. it's a nice memory. Greetings to America from Germany.
Wow that was worth watching, I never thought about going there but after watching this I really want to go now. Thank you for a great video, I never realised that there was so much.
The sooner DALLAS is released "rightfully" in Blu-Ray the better... The dvds are rubbish, absolutely. Dallas is/was the best Tv series ever created. Lovely upload btw.
We visited Texas when Dallas was at its peak. We drove out to the place called South Fork in the series. It was a beautiful place. I'll always remember it. No visitors center then and no name on the outside indicating what it was. So a lot has changed.
You were rsised right! I had two years on you! Good times for sure! I always thought it was beyond cool when tbe ‘Ewings’ came down in the morning and a Breakfast Buffet awaited them. ! I was so impressed with that. Lol
The whole family of 10 people were sitting in a small frontroom watching Dallas...the year 1978..I was 12 years old and a new world was presented to me. Dallas , Texas , oilrigs as far as the eye can see. Everything was bigger then big...and we soon got familliar with the Ewing family. I remember gettin in on time from a whole day playin outside, just to see what sly tricks JR had up his sleeve with mostly Cliff Barnes at the receiving end of it. Now looking back at some of the scenes...there was a good storyline and good acting! It is still great to watch...
I appreciate the tour! Especially since I have no intention of ever visiting the United States. And I must say that Southfork is a LOT more luxurious on the inside than the TV show version ever portrayed. Wow!
Actually, I feel exactly the same way..I hate the rampart Capitalism in the States and the Crime..Tipping is also annoying..I'm an Australian and will die here...
@@adipop Oh really, people tried to sleep at the ranch. I guess I would not blam them for that. You could tell your grand kids that you stayed at Southfork one time.
I'm confused bc i lived across the street in frisco where they filmed the outside of south fork ranch, i legit lived across the street on the right hand side but in frisco tx.
@@adipop the box ranch house the original south fork ranch was in Frisco tx the initial five episodes of Dallas were filmed. The beginning of south fork ranch started in Frisco Tx.
@@adipop well why didn't you say so, in my first comment when I said I was confused about it. All you did was create an unnecessary back and forth good grief..
Hard to understand that it was all imagination and that guy and his family never really lived there. Actually, any of them not already dead are likely in Encino or Tarzana.
Man, back in the day watching the TV Show I've always wondered what the view from this balcony 20:44 would look like. Thanks to you I know now. Thanks man.
I can't believe people pay money to visit a place that internally bears no resemblance whatsoever to the familiar set. What a con! You can see all there is to see from the street for free.
