@@PrussianNationalist474 im a bit late but here's my take: FOCUS TREE first, rush down the political tree, ignore everything else because the centre political focuses reduce paranoia. when you finished the military conspiracy then focus on either army or the internal affairs. while you're at it, click the decisions to purge the navy and "forge satisfactory production reports" it reduces a considerable amount of paranoia after you got the politics dealt with, go with either army or economy. for army, rush down to rehabilitated military(experts in camouflage is optional). if you go economy, you can rush the third year plan(i personally don't do that) or rush down the ussr academy of sciences(pls take "foreign experts") for the extra slot. then go to the army and rush down the other slot. after that would be when the germans attack you, you can either micro in poland or fall back to the dneipr, it doesnt matter. please do not do any of the territorial focuses because it's a huge waste of time imo ARMY ORGANIZATION now, this is very complicated, so i just put them in one big army group, then delete all motorized and tanks for free equipment and it also reduces your gun deficit. next, you wait until you have 50pp(or 48? i dont remember) then justify on turkey. after that, you can do either: - split the mountaineers into one army, and split 72 infantry units into 3 armies. the first army will guard the turkish border along with the mountaineers, the rest will guard the romanian's. - split all nkvd divisions off the army(provided you havent switched them) and put them on the turkish border, the mountaineers and 1 army will guard the romanians. whatever you do doesn't matter, but you MUST extend the war until ~1938. it gives you a lotta experience and also allows you to do "war economy"(hey it's 120 pp saved). then kill both romania and turkey(you should've been in ankara or crossed the river on the border with romania by then) you get 2 free puppets(you can also annex turkey, but i dont want to micro the italian islands) now if you're in 1941, stack all of your army on the german border. the mountaineers on the hungarian one, and you should've the planes up to date by now. make a plane with 3x4 heavy mgs or 1x2 cannon and 2x4 heavy mgs, with sealing tanks and either 1 drop tanks and 1 extra fuel tanks or 2 extra fuel tanks. make a cas with 2 bomb locks and 1 bomb bay(small) and either 1 drop tanks and 1 extra fuel tanks or 2 extra fuel tanks. you MUST have atleast 600 fighters by the time the germans come knocking(cas can wait). then you can watch as their airforce of 4000 melt because the ai is so dumb. stay at the polish border or the dneipr line until 1943, at which you can do 2 things: if you're on the polish border, try to start an offensive with your tank divisions and 2000 cas, either capture warsaw and then encircle koenigsberg, or all out offensive with TANKS to kill 'em all. your casualties should be no lesser than 2m. if you're on the dneipr, MAKE SURE you have kiev in your hands(build some forts there) and then start an offensive that captures 10 tiles west of it. then start another offensive with your tanks until you reach the lithuanian border, trust me, you will have an instant dopamine boost if you manage to cut all of the germans at the border. after that, it's over. PRODUCTION first and foremost, delete trucks, tanks, fighter and strat bombers, then set infantry equipment and support equipment to 15 and 10 factories respectively. if you had any remaining factories then assign them all to arty if you have a 40k+ surplus of guns and 6k+ surplus of support in 1939, you have essentially won the game. now what you want to do is start researching planes ahead of time. you should have planes rolling by 1940. if you have a 80-120k surplus of infantry and 10-14k surplus of support, then cut both of them to 5 factories, invest the rest into either towed anti air and fighter or towed aa and med tanks(more on them later). you should have 12 tanks divisions in training when the germans attack. adjust accordingly as you see fit. TEMPLATES AND DESIGNS now, i have said a thing or two about the planes, so we arent going back to it. you should have your arty and aa up to date, your tanks ahead of time(1940 tanks in 1939 is good enough). your med tank should be: -main gun + howitzers or main cannon if you see too many tank divisions -turret + honestly, either two man or three man turret(i prefer two because the breakthrough is nice and it doesnt suffer from speed penalties of three man) -everything else + best radio you can fit, easy maintenance(replace with wet ammo storage if you doesnt have maintenance company researched), 2 heavy mgs(if you want reliability, replace one mg with easy maintenance and add wet ammo storage). for suspension... do whatever you want, i prefer christie because speed is speed. keep riveted armor because its cheaper, and keep gas engine because its balanced. make sure your armor is at least 60 and speed is at least 8km/h. you should have a tank that costs 11-15 production cost. for templates. you would want to do 9/1 or 9/2 depending on your preferences, i personally do 9/1(9 infantry and 1 arty) with logistics, engineer, support arty and aa, and rangers(elevate the mountaineers). the mountaineers itself should be smth like 8/3(8 mountaineers, 3 arty) with logistics, engineer, support arty and aa, and rangers. your tanks should have 30-40 combat width(to do that, you can do 10 tanks 10 motorized or 10 tanks 5 motorized(8 tanks 8 motorized is very good too) with logistics, engineer, support arty and aa, and MAINTENANCE(not rangers) this makes sure you don't get speed capped at 6.4km/h because rangers stuff. GENERALS AND XP GAINING you can do either: + attack turkey and romania in 1937 + attack turkey and romania in mid-1937(allows you to farm spain for a while) + focus on spain only(might give you a puppet should you win). remember to send 2 tactical bombers air wing with IL design bureau you can breed a lvl 1-2 general into a lvl 6-7 by the time germany strikes. i prefer markian popov(he has infantry officer, cold resistance(lol), brilliant strategist and is lvl 2) he can be really good to defend the hungarian border when germany strikes(yes put him on mountaineers). for the tanks, put them under a lvl 1 tank general that starts with dmitry. GOVERNMENT this is very self explanatory, you will: +rush partial mob +get the industrial expert for extra civ construction(do not grab any other) + grab the popular figurehead or army reformer(again, do not grab any other ones because they will get purged to death) + assign your general you breed somewhere infantry specialist so you get a bonus to infantry + do positive heroism in focus tree for armor genius + get limited conscription + go limited exports + buy all of the allied rubber + get the cas reduction guy that's it. good luck with your games
