Honestly? This mission makes AC7 feel even more alive, and okay, maybe the voiceovers are still cheesy, but damn it, it sounds a lot more polished than the base game.

Damn the radio chatter is really fricking good It makes you realise that the enemy you are fighting is also human and they are fighting and dying for a cause. Not something you hear on the normal campaign.

I really. REALLY like the potential for David North, doesn't want to get involved with politics, but he's highly knowledgeable and works from behind the Curtain and we're not sure what side he's on. Hope they really do him justice, they have a good setup for him.

I REALLY love that they now mention the type of aircraft that you are facing now, it gives a more dynamic and realistic vibe to the mission, "Fullbacks", "Su-57", etc, also... i like how they mentioned that the Berkut is not a standar issue aircraft from Erusia. Now.... hell, this is like a mini version of the lighthouse, cuz theres a huge amount of aircrafts, and the Erusians are practicaly using the big guns here.

You can one-shot kill typical bandit with MSL while you are in the esm range. That is very important for this mission as it's necessary to save MSLs

Very impressive first video on the DLC. I really appreciate how the entire mission is designed to cater to the skills of veteran players. By the amount of damage you received, I'm pretty sure any novice attempting this mission would have failed before the halfway point. But stay sharp at all times, that missile (or friendly) at 20:41 could have reduced your 20 minutes of effort to nothing. In any case, this is a fantastic start to the DLC trilogy. Can't wait for Anchorhead Raid.

I had my suspicions from the DLC trailer, but this vid just blew all doubt out of the water. This submarine (and its captain) is definitely a Daybreaker/Nightmare Moon hybrid. I mean, it has enough magic (i.e. railguns, planes and nukes) to burn the world in a bright flash of light (Daybreaker) before covering it in darkness (Nightmare Moon). That alone shows that the Alicorn lives up to its name. Now, we just have to see if it really flies.

We can see how much Trigger and his colleagues worked so hard; during days between Stonehenge Defensive and Battle of Farbanti.

Anyone else think that Alex is the Alicorn's CDO? David declined the call from Alex and talked via text-to-voice instead, hiding Alex's real voice. And when the Captain was talking to the CDO he seemed to not understand his words when he was being poetic. That makes me think the CDO is actually an AI controlling the ship. An AI named Alex who's playing both sides of the conflict? Maybe.

I like how Torres instantly places Trigger on top of his personal shit list. No bullshit like "your victory over my elite troops must be a dumb luck" or "those weren't my best men, you wouldn't last a minute against THEM"

I'm away from home for a while and I won't be able to play these missions until December. I loved watching this video to see all the story bits and Tuga's amazing gameplay makes it even better. This mission looks excellent and I can hardly wait to take it on. I'm thinking about what plane to use first- YF-23 w/ HVAAs is one of my favorites, but I like the Rafale and I hear the HCAAs are really good, and the Typhoon seems promising too. I'll save the X-02S for a later run though...

That was definitely a fun mission, I am not disappointed in the slightest! My only little gripe is how easy it can be, when I played it, Scream went down in about five seconds with standards and HCAAs, so much for screwing me up so bad. But I can definitely see myself replaying it, so in that aspect, it's a win!

I did my first run with the Gripen as well. I used SASMs though. If I had known that missiles still respawn after you have finished them I may have been more liberal with my usage.

I waited till I finished the mission myself before watching. It was a fcking chaos and I loved it.

GodDAMN but that was a fun mission. I was thrilled to actually run out of ammo and have to rely on my guns. I’m glad I chose a fast plane as my primary dogfighter, because there’s a lot of ground to cover in this one. So. Damn. Satisfying.

Seems like the Dutch language also exists in Strangereal; one of the ships is named "Hamerkop", Dutch for "Hammerhead".

What I liked - The furball is nothing short of excellent, with high-tier planes and aggressive AI making the dogfight exhilarating. The mini objectives are kind of pointless, but it still plays very well and annihilating enemies with ESM is very fun. The cutscenes are very interesting and intriguing, even if the plot they're laying out is... Kind of obvious when you think about it. What I didn't like - The lack of a return line is a huge sore spot. Ammo gets very tight, and it makes getting the S-Rank... _interesting._ The ending objective is just Homeward except the targets move and deploy flares. Feels a bit longer compared to other score attacks, but that might just be me. Not overly bad since there are a lot of things to blow up either way. Despite the Alicorn getting huge prominence, it doesn't really do anything in the level outside of the scripted event. Mimic Squadron is so edgy that Sulejmani would tell those two to chill. They're also a lot of bark and no bite most of the time. Overall, despite the negatives outweighing the positives, this is a damn good mission. I wish the return line existed, but otherwise, it's excellent. Random notes - Mimic Squadron's portrait labels their affiliation as "GRGM". In addition, their tail codes are PE GR032. Gee! I wonder what nebulous organization they're a part of! And why they're called "Mimic" squadron! If you look carefully, the... SACS... (Lmfao) have a unique emblem under the Erusea emblem on their vertical stabilizer. It is, fittingly enough, an alicorn! (AKA a winged unicorn for those not in the know. Also, inb4 brony joke.) It's kind of neat how Mimic and the SACS have unique paint jobs. It would be neat to get those as rewards for the later DLC missions. If not? Well, modders'll take care of it in no time at all. Torres has many bats in the belfry and it is so goddamn funny.

Okay can someone explain what happened to me because i bought the season pass and i have all the stuff that comes with it such as the ADF-11F Raven set,ADF-01 Falken set and the ADFX-01 Morgan set along with the Music player the only dlc other than this mission is the pre-order plane F-4E Phantom II, so am i getting screwed over somehow or is it some sort of error?

Destroying the enemies with the 6AAMs was too easy! But it has been difficult to shake off those planes due to the lack of Allied Support command.

It was an epic air battle. The Gripen E with electronic support defeated every opponent on the ground and in the air. Only these two Su-47 bother me. And what is Captain Matias Torres capable of completing his mission? Two questions remain: 1. What would happen if Rafale M with the WMD missile hit the target? 2. Cy EA-18G, MiG-29K and additional paint for Rafale M and Su-47 will be available to the player after completing all three missions?
