The Gears trailer this summer has the potential of getting back to gritty dark scifi combat. Fingers crossed

Well space marine 2 is actually pretty boring and gets repetitive fast so …… there’s no content and PvP is not good

@@GermanNunez-l2n to each their own, but I disagree campaign is fantastic ,very cinematic. The PVE and PVP are both entertaining and have great progression. I imagine enjoyment will depend on age and demographic.

@@MiddleSpoon3461 it’s certainly missing something there is no progression unless you’re just talking about cosmetics which take forever to get because leveling in PvP takes ages but if you do it from co-op that also takes long but people have resorted to doing the same missions over and over and speed running them just to even level up I’d imagine once horde mode gets added that’ll fix that but it’ll be a while ….

@@GermanNunez-l2n it feels like a game from late 2000s in the best way possible. I'm an older Millennial and with the time I have to dedicate to gaming it fits the bill for me, and beyond the cosmetics there is also the upgraded weapons. For those grinding I could see how it could be seen as repetitive. A horde mode will be a welcome feature.

It's actually fairly simple. Make games the players want and you sell games. You sell games = more money = better stock = bonus. Simple math.

season pass is purely cosmetic, all of the actual content added in the seasons is completely free. thats nuts man, crazy generous to give DLC content away for free in 2024 no matter how you slice it

@@LuckyGhost Dont get me wrong I agree. Also at the end of the day you dont have to buy the pass if you dont want the cosmetics so theres no FOMO in it as you dont 'need' them.

I feel I should clarify I don't have a problem with inclusion. Inclusion is great. The problem is when games get attacked for NOT including a girl early enough in a game about a monkey. Its the weird criticisms from twitter / journalists that I think people take issue with. Its okay to have a story about a bunch of girls. Its also okay to have a story about a bunch of guys. It doesn't always have to be some weird corporate formula that plays out in the perfect ratio of men to women in every single game. thats not how life works

Also, Concord would have failed either way because no one wanted another generic 5v5 hero shooter.
