Space Station 13 is a game that you're not going to understand unless you play. It's not a game you can learn by watching or reading, and it is a game you certainly won't master in your first day, week or month. Space station 13 is one of the most insane experiences of my life, a game that has occupied my time for over a decade now. Space station 13 is the roguelike of roguelikes for me, the most wonderful piece of human created madness, and certainly on equal footing with dwarf fortress in terms of sheer complexity. Please join in as I embark again, for just another day on space station 13.

I used to work as a chef, and I can confirm that the more words you add to the name of the dish, the more you can charge for it. The most expensive words are ones like 'organic', 'free-range', e.t.c. You also very genuinely charge for presentation of the dish.

I was a chef's assistant, but mostly I was just a cook. and yeah, more words and stuff like 'organic, free range, gluten free, lactos free, non fat, synergestic' make the food more expensive

To be fair to us, we kinda have to name something pretentious or you won't pay $20 to eat a bowl of mesclun, goat cheese and dressing. But if you want some real flair you gotta look old school french, you don't know what your eating because the words themselves are always filigreed in cake.

appreciate the food pomposity. I feel the same way about wine tastings and somaliers, holding a glass or red wine that tastes the same as red wine always tastes and yet saying stuff like "it has caramel and owl beak notes and a fine cheese finish." Yeah whatever, gargoyle. Wine is just someone ruining perfectly good grape juice.
