​@@RUSTYSURPLUS I thought it might be for the barrel and receiver alignment myself, hard to believe the receiver could split, it takes a lot to do something like that and it pretty heavy made.. never hurts to check I guess, the only way it could would be if the barrel was plugged and the barrel would split before the receiver 🤔... Just my thoughts

@@navyvet7665 I took it all apart and looked at it again and those lines you see there are the barrel and receiver alignment lines I looked at the feed ramp and inside the chamber and there are no cracks so I think that's just some kind of weird looking thing with the lines. where the barrel and receiver line up I also think that the barrel has been replaced I'm not sure but maybe but thanks man ! I do have that extra bolt and not sure how to take it totally apart.. that might be a good video to show how to do that. THX RUSTY

FDP thanks for that..i did take it apart and I think what you're seeing there are the barrel and receiver alignment lines and I looked at the feed ramp and inside the receiver and there are no cracks so I don't think this receiver is split I took it all apart and looked and it just doesn't look split to me.
