If the blade steel was 3V or MAGNACUT then it would be, but with High Carbon 1095, it's needs to be coated for outdoor use...

@@JoeSteel1 Certainly. But I strip all my 1095s anyway. Usually I blue or force patina them. Most sit in drawers the majority of the time anyway, so rusting isn't an issue.
