Just picked up that same mower but in the 54" and use on handful of commercial properties for my boss and i can say honestly it outcuts and out proforms all of the low tier commercial mowers and for the price and what you get cant best it.

Just found your channel and I have a Spartan RZ54. Has the Kawasaki FR691V engine. I bought it about a year ago and have 13 hours on it. I like it so far, however I noticed when I demoed it at the dealer, the height control knob numbers were faded and didn't line up with the pointer, height is also off a bit. I think someone tried twisting the knob without pushing the foot pedal. I Also noticed the gas cap doesn't screw on all the way. I lifted the front end to sharpen the blades and smelled gas. When I looked for a leak, gas was pouring out of the threads of the tank and cap. Thanks for showing a filter number, I've been trying to cross reference it to a name brand filter. I like that it is a longer filter than what came on the engine, adds a little more oil. I like the size of the tray on the left hand side of your model. Mine is smaller and can't even hold a pair of hand pruners. Over all the cut quality is excellent along with the quality of the manufacturing. I think it will be the last mower I buy.

❤❤❤ my Spartan! I have the RZ-C with the same Kawaski engine. Mine has the 54" deck. It is the best mower I could find. It beats out many of the higher priced mowers in the same category. We ❤❤❤ it.

Good video, bro. I live in East Texas and use Castrol 20W-50 in everything that I own, and have had wonderful success with it. Four mowers, wood chipper, wood splitter, etc.

Great job. I use 20w50 amsoil full synthetic in all my small engines a bit pricey @ $15.99 a quart but I change my oil around 400-500 hrs. I own a exmark Lazer Z 96 in with a yanman 37 hp diesel owned it over 5 yrs and have had no problems out of it except belts blades..... BTW I'm in Arkansas and it gets 🔥 🥵 HERE also have a great day Buddy

Hi Jeremy, I have a 2021 Spartan RZ 48. Do you know if the TuffTorq 400 tranny can be maintenanced as far as fluid change, or would I have to completely remove it and turn it upside down to get all the fluid out? Thanks in advance if you know.

I bought a cub cadet 5 years ago. It has 164 hours on it and it's been in the shop more hours than it has on it. I'm so disappointed in cub cadet. I was thinking about replacing it with Spartan. But I don't want to buy something that won't last

Nice mower! The best upgrade you can do to a Kawasaki FR 691/730 is the FX style air filter canister kit.

Do the newer Kawi engine's still have the oil dipstick that tells you to not screw the dipstick down, when checking the oil level properly? It's amazing how many people screw it all the way down, then check the oil level? Your supposed to just sit it on the top threads of the tube, then check it, right? Good job, sir.

General push mowers Honda 25hrs and Briggs 50hrs recommenced for oil changes.

I dont know about that oil filter, but I was going to say, "I see you're using Kawasaki's recommended oil viscosity for summer time temperatures".👍🏻

Cheap hoses and fuel lines that stretch to fit their connections are a pet peeve for me. For the cost of me equipment you would think the designers would use better parts

I usually flush the engine with a quart of new oil and let it drain straight out. May not do anything, but I think it washes out more of the old oil and more particulates. Then I put in the proper amount of oil to run the engine.
