I’ve never met Lee, but followed her online for YEARS. The day I found out about her passing I was devastated. I know she’d want us to live our lives to the fullest, so after I wiped my tears, I bought a dress that I was too scared to wear because I was worried about what others would say. Life is short, so live it up ❤️

First time I viewed ur vlog. It made me cry. I have also dealt w depression. Became overwhelming. I od'd on pills, spent a week in ICU 2006. I'm a woman, Vietnam vet. So many layers. Got put through full time on mental health unit for depression/PTSD and have many years of counseling continuing to this day. I was always a social animal, loved people. Skydiving, I helped pioneer some things, hiked scuba dived, artistic, chef, pastry chef, pharmacy tech. When I faltered I got deserted. My parents, sisters said what do I have to feel bad about, pull myself together, I have it good, I'm self indulgent. But I also went through these times alone then. No man at my side, making it alone and my parents decided to send my bipolar brother a one way ticket to live w me. They couldn't take the strain. Anyhow on and on. But I am forever grateful to the VA because I've learned to hold my ground and help is only a call away. But I completely understand the hopeless Lee felt. I've lived it. It's oppressive, it's real, and it's just there w you like a lead weight. Some come through, some don't. God bless Lee.

Such beautiful words spoken from the heart. We never had the chance to meet Lee but messaged online - she was an amazing person and the world wont be the same without her. She did a wonderful post saying that just because she put's herself online doesn't give people the right to say what they want. There is a fine line between freedom of speech and hate speech. We all need to stand up again cyber bullying. As content creators we should not accept personal or hate speech, it is not ok !!! We need to all stick together. Hopefully RU-vid also does more to prevent videos that encourage cyber bullying. LEE was full of life. Every time I see anybody talking about her makes me really emotional but at the same time I want to hear it out. Cant still digest she is gone. RIP you little angel.

Oh my goodness. I had seen her many times on Eamon and Bec’s vlogs. She was such a beautiful, wonderful person. I’m so sorry for her loss. Mental Health is something ppl need to be more forthcoming about. Alaska has one of the highest Suicidal rates in the US per capita. I know a few ppl who had Succumbed to mental health and a subject that we need to be more open about. My heart breaks to all who loved Lee. Cyber bullying is so harsh, and wrong! This should never have happened. This makes me cry because it was preventable.I’m so Distraught. I feel like I knew her from watching her on RU-vid and she was such a loving, warm hearted, beautiful person. My heart breaks for all that caused this.

I'd seen your comments on Lee and Max's various social media pages and wondered how you were doing. I've been where Lee was more than once in my 60 years, but something stopped me, thankfully. It was a hard road back but I was lucky. My story has become different, positive and contented. It broke my heart that Lee couldn't see a way forward, despite the good things that were happening in her life. You were lucky to speak with her, to know her, to encourage and support her as she found a new path at the time. I'm also proud of you two and what you've started to do with others. It means alot to know that you're not alone when depression starts draining your life force. I know you've had a hard time too in the past, Aimee, and you know, as I did too, what your own mortality can mean. Lee's gift was to give everything to others and to be of service. I was proud of her at a distance and she was worth a thousand times more than her mind was telling her. Her journey should not have ended that way, but every person saved from here on in is her legacy. She's stardust now, sprinkling magic on her loved ones and our shared community. If only everyone would be kind, compassionate, and build a better future, rather than mindlessly destroy it, the world would be a far better place. Those poignant images of the daffodils in your video represent so much: your usually sunny dispositions, your home country, Spring heralding growth & renewal, and the Macmillan charity, of course. Cyber bullying has to stop, no-one should be made to feel so bad that the only way to escape it, is to end your life, I didn’t know Lee but it really affected me listening to you talking about her, she sounds like she was an amazing woman. Something needs to be done to stop this, I suffer with mental health issues so I know how hard it can be to reach out but for anyone reading these comments who is struggling, please reach out, talk to someone, there is so many people who want to help you ❤️ RIP Lee Xxx

Mental health always carries a stigma unfortunately, the thing is no one should judge because it can happen to anyone it can creep up on you and then hits you like a ton of bricks. It’s so much easier for people to be nasty or become distant with you, because in their eyes you’re weak. A favourite saying I’ve heard is “give yourself a shake or get a grip” which really doesn’t help most people walk away only true friends stick around and give support, which can be as simple as making a cuppa and a chat. So so sorry for yours and Eamon and bec’s loss, i had seen her a handful of times in their videos but could tell she was a strong support and kind friend. Mental health problems need to be talked about more often and when I saw she had passed away it made me think, someone may have all the awareness of their problems and be getting help but sometimes it isn’t enough. We all just need to be there for each other so much more, even if that is just to sit or walk in silence, the sense of knowing someone has your back can help I believe. I work as a mental health nurse and a few years ago did an event trying to reduce the mental health stigma for young people. It’s still a complex thing to break down but bit by bit things are getting better. Sending you all love and you are right, peoples outside world may look great but it’s the inner work that is the most important and the communities and support we have x

It is amazing how far-reaching Lee McMillan's legacy is spreading. Well, so it should. She is an amazing woman. I still cannot speak of her in the past tense. She is affecting the present world and I am so sure that she will also affect it far into the future. Thank you for making her a part of our lives as well. My heart is grieving for you and for her community of friends and followers. There should indeed be some way to stop the cyber bullying and to prosecute the offenders. It is no different that squaring off in the streets and beating someone down with a bat. They are the cowards, to hide behind a keyboard and strike out at others, especially the most vulnerable. It is so real, having suffered for many years myself, and slowly over coming,with Wim Hof breathing, grounding, and taking myself off the medications.. there are other treatments that work, like wim hof and gives you a sense of control back in your life.. and men speak about it, so many suffering in these crazy times.. love to you both and respect for making more aware of this very real condition..

I found the 2 of you through Eamon & Bec and every video I seen about Lee just shatters me and makes me sob. As someone who lives and often struggles with my mental health - this is terrifying. So sorry to hear the loss of your friend Lee. Having lost my son to suicide and struggled with mental health issues most of my life I know how important it is to speak up and equally important for people to try to reach out and listen which equally isn't always easy.

"If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all" is how I was raised, along with "Do unto others as you would have done to you." May God Bless Lee and her community and may God help the bullies. Love you two.

I never knew Lee for real, but I thought that she's such a sweet and caring person and had the prettiest soul ever- But bullying on the net is so easy- sitting anonymous behind the screen with some taken name. But actually it's quite simple, never say anything to anybody that you wouldn't say if you stand face to face with the person. As you probably know ny know, I'm a silly, but very friendly old man. I want to create a channel to honor her and all of the others who have been battling with mental health concerns. Actually just quit my job, and closing my business, and am planning to travel full time (traveling the 50 states) to spread awareness of depression and anxiety and living life to the fullest! ❤ Was completely devastated when I heard the news about Lee. She was one of the few younger travelers that I felt bonded and connected to. She was such a beautiful spirit! I didn't know her in person but she inspired me so much and was just a gorgeous girl to follow and enjoy ❤❤❤ I have battled with depression, C-PTSD and anxiety and childhood trauma and became suicidal again in December 2019 and onward through 2020. Instead of giving in to my depression and mental health concerns I plan to encourage others to get help and change their lives! ❤ Biggest hugs to you both. Thank you for creating this episode. 🙏🥰 Lee was such a gorgeous spirit with amazing energy! ❤

Hello guys. I discovered you literally a week ago, when I was little bit struggling with school and stress. It was nothing horrible, but I needed some kind of reminder that I rule my own world. After the first video I watched I laughed so hard I couldn't breathe. I immediately felt like I know you guys for years and you really helped me in just one week. I "met" Lee just few days ago and I have no right to say that I knew her, but it really feels like it, so I cried with you during the video. I am so sorry for your loss and so glad that you speak about this. One of my family members really struggled with mental health. Thanks god we managed to help her, but it was a tough journey. Mental health is nothing to be ashamed of and we all deserve to live the life we want. To rule our own world. Thank you that you remind us of this every day.

Thank you. As someone who suffers greatly from anxiety and depression, I can’t put in to words the impact that her death has had on me or that you, and others like you, talking about it has had. We need more support and understanding. Please continue to advocate for us. Knowing that someone who suffers as I do, who struggles every day to over come the suffering, has taken her life is a hard blow. It makes me worry that I too am not strong enough to beat this battle. She had such an incredible support system, yet in the end she succumbed. We need more and I don’t want to be another statistic. I want to get myself through this and then I want to help others. Lee’s death has made me realize that I don’t want to keep suffering in silence. I want to be proactive and I don’t feel alone in this.

Since I saw the news, Lee has just been in my thoughts so often! It really socks that she is gone, I was bullied a lot when I was younger so I know what it is like on a way what Lee was going through.
