SPEARFISHING MARLIN East Coast Australia 

I live on the gulf coast of the United States and gaining to courage to jump in that first time in the oil rigs was the best thing I've ever done. Not scuba certified unlike most people that spearfish off the coast of Louisiana but still get fish just as big as theirs. I love this video, keep up the good work

So don't worry tree huggers, its not as plentiful as you think! For those of you who haven't spearfished, its EXTREMELY Hard! It not like fishing. When you dive, its not like you see in this video. Its basically the highlights of a rare occasion. You can spend hours looking. Even if there is something, its not gonna swim anywhere close to you, and you have to be extremely stealth. Mind you, this is after you have mastered holding your breath. I used to frown on it. I's say "thats not fishing, thats cheating...thats too easy" but I went down to BAJA, bought a setup, and I have a new found respect for this. I am just guessing, but I'd say for a beginner, 95-99% come to shore with nothing.
