One of my hardest challenges yet. This didn't take me too many tries since I know the matchup by heart, maybe 5, but it was still a very long test of endurance. I carted a few times.
It was very difficult preventing at least one explosion from Magnamalo, Strength is just a bit too weak that even landing great damage on Magnamalo's face could sometime not even pop a Qurio Core.
So, Special Investigation monsters have a ton of HP. Count somewhere between 120 and 150k HP probably for most, for a solo player. They gain an additional ~7-10k HP on top if they are in arena locale such as the Infernal Springs.
Even with that arena HP increase though it's still probably better to hunt them there since single area kills in a normal locale is probably impossible.
Additionally some monsters will have larger AoE attacks. Special Magnamalo's hellfire balls are much bigger for example.
I wanted to get this out first after making my TU5 video since Magnamalo is such a signature matchup of my channel. I mastered this fight over and over with Hammer. I did get punished a few times in this run but nothing too big.
