I also bought on sale for $4000.00 I asked why they were on sale, the salesman at the store in Hadley, Ma said it was because they were overproduced during Covid...worked for me! So far, it's awesome, light, easy to ride, great handling, fast, comfortable. Yes, 4K is still a lot to pay for a bike, but I plan to ride this one for the next 10 years, so "price per wear" it make sense.
