These fish are getting hammered in Kasi bay lake 3 by the locals using kurper as bait. Teams of of 2 to 5 guys gobout at nighit catching up to 20 fish averaging from 5 to 12kg. Then keeping them in big freezers in the shacks, and selling them for quite a hefty price to people going there on holiday. They mainly catch them in the north eastern corner of lake 3. I did catch one on the spot they directed me to, and was allowed 1 fish per vessle for the day, so I dont know how they manage to get away with up to 20 fish in one nighit.
