Kraven being mutated is one of the very few things that I wasn't crazy about in this show. They basically tried to combine the Spider-Man villain Puma with Kraven.
Favorite Mysterio story was when he posed as a therapist for Spidey cus he was hallucinating all his villains, but of course it was just him. Almost got him to reveal his identity but Jonah of all people stopped him. Great flash moments that issue too (I forgot the exact issue number it’s in the first 30 issues somewhere)
This incredible show only getting two seasons is criminal. I really hope Disney/Marvel and Sony can work something out from the legal mess the rights of the show find themselves in so they can make a season 3 to continue or at least wrap up the series with a satisfying conclusion for the story. I NEED Spectacular Spider-Man to get the X-Men 97 treatment! 🙏🏽🔥🎥
Let's be real, they'll drop the ball HARD if they try to continue it. Disney's oppressive mandates have only gotten worse over the years. I have zero faith in them to do anything but tarnish the show's legacy.
Everyone wasnt a the biggest fan of Kraven getting powers, but i love how so much more human he feels here. He is enjoyable to watch and has emotions to him.
@@fuzzyotterpaws4395Spider-man already has many animal villains but a normal dude with no gimmicks is unique for him. Aside from Kraven, the only other villain like that I can think of is Kingpin though there's probably some I missed
This is the only version of Kraven I like personally. I never bought him as an antagonist and rolled my eyes every time he showed, but him getting mutated like the other Spider-Man villains got me hooked.
I thought it was weird and unnecessary at first, but it grew on me. Though I definitely understand if Kraven fans hated it. Green Goblin is my favorite comic book character ever and I LOATHE Ultimate Hulk Goblin with every fiber of my being.

Hey it's me, continuing to recommend the Green Lantern Animated Series for watching after this! Underrated, cancelled before it's time, animation that takes a minute to adjust to, and Josh Keaton voicing the main character again!
iron man: armored adventures has a great theme song. you guys mentioned getting comments about it at some point last season. would be a good replacement for this show, except the seasons are way longer

Favorite villain of season 2 is definitely Spoilers Hammerhead and Silver Sable. That episode where they fight for Rhino's schematics was peak, and so was the gang war opera episode kickstarted by Hammerhead.

Kraven being turned into a half-man half-lion hybrid was probably the one choice from the entire show that I've never been a fan of. His design was perfect before the transformation with his costume being ripped straight from the 60s comics, then it's never used again. I felt like Kraven should've taken some gene cleanser to revert back to his human self since he realized that this method was a failure, and then go the enhanced human route from the comics with the herbs instead.

I never saw it before myself and I'm a huge Spider-man fan (like reading comics since the 80s huge, I'm old) and it's fun to see this for the first time with people I almost feel like I know. Coy from Collider and Harloff (yeah, I'm an old nerd) and John I particularly grew fond of during the Shogun reactions, a man that's willing to cry in public is cool by me. And you both give great commentary in different ways, And Sending MASSIVE HUGS (unless that violates your imaginary personal space) and wishing you both the best. With Great Power there must always come great responsibility and y'all have the power and talent to entertain and inform. I'm sure you will continue to use that power wisely and maybe when I'm a richer nerd I'll join Patreon so I can be a super sexy nerd too 🙂

*(SPOILERS)* for this season: My favourite villain of this season (and the entire series) is none other than Doctor Octopus, aka. The Master Planner, himself. The *_ONLY_* villain in the entire series to not only almost take over the city, but the entire *_WORLD._* In terms of the scale of planning and threat, none matched The Master Planner, Doc Ock. Green Goblin and Tombstone are close runners-up for my favourite villain in this series, though.

Best Villain: Green Goblin by a country mile. Sad we didn't get Season 3 Hobgoblin because they introduce his alter-ego perfectly in a later episode this season. Best Opening Song: As a show I think the 2017 version is vastly superior to the 1987 version in every conceivable way, but no theme song in the history of theme songs will ever top the sheer staying power and insidious ear-worminess of the classic Ducktales theme song.

According to the creators, Peter and MJ getting married was one of their endgame plans. When you finish the series you should look up what they've revealed about their plans for season 3 and beyond. Really makes you wish they could have continued this story in some form.
Who would make a good live action Kraven? Someone taller than the actor playing Peter Parker…bigger than Spider-Man…an adult and not someone around Peter’s age…
This is the only part of the show and what it does with characters that doesn't work for me. They had a perfect Kraven design and could've just had him gotten enhanced strength and such to fight Spidey. Still love the show though, literally the only thing that doesn't work for me.
I feel like Kraven should have just been juiced up on drugs and utilizing his lion as a hunting partner. If we had to go the mutation route, give it to the lion. Genetic hybrid Battle Cat hunting alongside his master would have been fun.
I honestly wouldn’t have minded kravens mutation if it wasn’t his first episode. Give us a full episode of every hunting trick he can think of not working then give him the mutation.
The first two episodes with what Peter is going through is much more interesting than Spider-Man facing the villains. Kraven with mutating was a poor choice.
Yeah, I didn't really like the Kraven turning into a lion look either. At least they gave us a fight scene with Kraven pre-mutation first; it was really cool to see.
Grew up with the 90s spider but this series is my fav adaptation of spidey I personally would rather see this renewed before the 90s spiderman show this just felt it had alot more depth for me but by no means an easy choice but it spectacular for me 🔴🔵🤟🕸
I'm fine with beast kraven, he's basically just transformed himself into a super predator which is essentially always what he wanted in the first place
