His “Bad” is my great💀 it’s actually crazy how all you really need is is texturing and lighting to make crazy stuff literally spammed cubes and topped everything I can make ever.
great! also dont listen to those of us who puke into comments - finding assets and sourcing models is a skill people need to learn as a pro love it or hate it
Hey man i have been watching your videos for a while and you caught my eyewith your own style, i just wanted to say keep it up because you produce solid content and inspiration :))
this was amazing! love seeing what you can accomplish in 15 minutes. i was also wondering if you’d ever do a tutorial or just a video on your workspace! love love your stuff so much
Everything Max did in the video was amazing. Like everytime he said well this doesn't look good, i was like what do you mean? that looks amazing to me! Cool work tho
I propose the intoxicated render challenge. Get yourself relatively drunk, like a few decent shots of whiskey or a small pack of beer and then try doing this. Lke someone else here mentioned, you sound way too stressed out and I think it'd be fun to do this while totally relaxed and with your head not thinking straight haha. Of course if you don't drink alcohol that's totally fine, but I'd really like to see you do this sort of think while being relaxed.
Going "that looks awful, oh I hate that, I really don't like this" as the creation gets progressively better looking is an accurate representation of what the artistic process looks like
quick question... how to get those window layouts set up like that? The lower right seems to be just a render either evee or cycles with nothing else and I guess the upper left is for shading? but I've just been clicking the headings up top to go to the diff places instead of leaving windows set. Maybe it's a bit better to always have some windows up for speed. That was a cool scene but yeah, you just needed 60 more seconds to shuffle those foreground boxes a little more to get them looking better placed.
Could you make a longer Video about the stuff you do in photoshop with your renders? Would be very interesting Imo! Also great stuff as always, you really prove your incredible creativity in this one.
Max show us how do people get human models and like broken skull with cell fracture where outside part is for example stone and inside is gold, stuff like that u know. YOU ARE BASICALLY INSANE, BEST ONE ON RU-vid
Looks really nice, especially for such a small time frame. I think that the biggest problem is the repetition in the back. Once you took the already existing geometry and started spreading it in the back, the shapes stayed the same so it looks a bit repetitive. Some rescaling and angle changes would have probably broken up that problem. Once again, it looks good, this is just something that caught my eye...
I don't understand why people are saying using premade models is cheating. If everyone would be thinking that way the entire photo- and kitbashing scene would be dead. Or imagine film, tv and SoMe without stock footage...it's so hypocritical. Anyway, good job, Max!
Could you let us know what your camera scale(focal zoom or whatever) and all that is? I seem to turn lights up to 123455 like you do and they are insanely brighter than yours. I'm not sure why. Could be other Cycles options too, so could you let us know your cycles options and all that? Maybe a video with all your settings and setup or something.
Like others have said the final result isn't really important, I found more value in the process. Like the code texture to make sci-fi emission cubes was so cool
if you start a patreon i bet people would pay for it, i know i would, also considering paying for ur course (mainly for the asset packs) you and ian hubert have similar workflows i feel, you two are definitely my favorite blender artists for sure
well if you want to feel pain, do a no shortcuts mouse only render challenge. One of my uni courses is teaching blender right now, and since i am quite experienced with it i spent a lot of time helping out. 90% of which was screaming at my friends that please for gods sake press tab to switch between object/edit mode dont do it manually.
Strange question. Do you have a tutorial on your Blender layout? Your Blender 3D layout makes since to me and looks like your workflows is fast because its less opening up windows and less time wasted. Plus, it’s pleasing to the eyes.
You should have made a timelapse after that of you tweaking things that you wouldve done without the time limit, like moving things around n stuff and then compare it side by side
@@xdwsn I thought this was it also, but there are indicator arrows that stay there. Haven't figured out how to turn those off. Closest I've come is that if you switch to Cycles they go away? But if you switch back to Eevee they come right back. I also don't think this is the reason his aren't there because he has the shader editor open without the right sidebar being open and there's no arrow there either. Somehow he's just turned them off, but I have no idea how.
Hey Max can you please make a video about how to improve environement creation skills? I mean how to actually master the fundamentals, sth like an artistic pathway
