Just finished building 2 of these last night. One DJI O3 and the other Walksnail. They are great cruisers and can do freestyle. Is not my go too frame for freestyle but everything else. I have a V1 with HD Zero and one Analog. Great product you are showcasing!
I have just built my Master 5 V2 and I LOVE IT! I built it with the F7 V3 stack and it was not only my cleanest build this year but also one of the fastest, best flyer out of the box with BF defaults. This is a very WELL DESIGNED frame with GREAT OPTIONS and clear instructions.
What a beautiful looking frame, so rugged and well built with all of those great extra bits. Definitely a future project. Thanks for another informative video! Now back to programming my Speedy Bee F405 wing for my Dragon Two, with the help of your INAV videos , of course. Cheers
Hi Lee, nice frame, but seems to have a lot of extra bits I would never use. For example, I see no reason for side plates. Also a bit heavy. I prefer the GEPRC Mark5.
Great review as always. I just finished an HD build with this, i also have 3 builds of V.1 and i really like these frames. The updates on V2 are great and better than V1.
Fantastic review, Lee! 😃 It looks like an amazing frame indeed! My only complaint, and it's not specific to this frame, is about the angled GPS mount... It should be flat. 😬 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
@Painless360 Pawel Spychalski explained once... But I don't remember right now. 😬 But, either way, you need to get it to connect before you take off and the angled position won't help much...
I respectfully disagree with Pawel on this one then. Tilted works for a more solid lock when flying forward and, as that is mostly what you're doing when you're in the air, is the most useful orientation. Happy flying!
I've just built mine, but still pending maiden flight (its also my first drone build). The only complaint is that the screws for the O3 unit (as is) are too long for the mount. I just added to small circular rubber seals between mouth and the camera. Seems to do the trick!
I no longer use or recommend ANY speedybee products. I bought their F7 V3 FC. I received it with a bent pin straight out of the box. They refused to consider anything beyond offering a 20% discount on buying a new one. My thought is I’ve already wasted over $100 on the first one, why would I double that because their support sucks. Basically they blamed me for an out of box defective part. Be careful buying from them, they don’t offer much by way of support if you have any issues with quality, which seems to be poor at best. There won’t be any speedybee products on any of my builds.
The world ends because you have a bent pin! Why bother posting a negative if it does not relate to the product being shown? No you kids come to complain about the sun shining! 62 here and spent 20 years in the military. I overcame a multitude of minor electronics issues in the field. 50 quad builds under my belt.
