Spektrum DX9 custom sound setup and switch assignment 

I was hoping you would show how to change the function of that switch onto a different switch, but thank you for the info. This transmitter has so many setting and functions I learn something new every day.

I have just received my new DX6 a day or two ago and eagerly started setting it up. I have set up some switches for flap position, hi/lo rates etc and got the radio to say "flaps up", "landing flaps", "hi rates", "low rates" etc. all working perfectly. I then updated the sound files as per your website's recommendation but now die audio has changed to add the switch alpha and position + the words! i.e. instead of "flaps up", it now says "flaps up switch B position zero"! This is very annoying. How do I get the "....switch B position zero" (switch identifier words), to be silent?

Any way to change the start up tone of the radio?

Is this model specific or controller wide?
