0:04 - Ball Banded AT Lunge - ACL needs to work to prevent the tibia being pulled fwd, ball adds instability to challenge ACL 0:19 & 2:18 Overhead Squat - Hip, knee, ankle flexion makes quads strengthen 0:26 partial iso squat - Instability at ankle, uses ACL to control shank (shin/ankle region) 0:44 & 2:00 partial front squat - loading ACL, quads (not much glute) 0:55 one leg balance - ACL stability tested (impressive stability here even for someone healthy) 1:04 moves between balancing on either leg, more dynamic, low load and builds stability 1:09 skaters - more load, more basketball specific 1:15 DL to rotational lunge - Hamstring, obliques, groin, hip flexors and glutes 1:34 (PHYSIO WORK not my field so idk) 1:43 & 2:07 Hip Flexor stretches, attach to the quads helps keep the anterior chain loose 1:48 small skaters - early knee proprioception work, making the quads work again 1:54 one leg press - Stabilises knee flexion under load (carefully load as this is the movement of ACL tears) 2:03 cycling - blood flow to warm, loosen ligament and joint capsule 2:12 sliding rev lunge w/ med ball - control of a loaded knee & hip joints while unstable and using a ball 2:35 KB front squats - Further loading ACL and quads I'm not his trainer but 2 risks factor for ACL re-injury are being injured in the first place and a weak Ham:Quad ratio, there's a lot of Quad work here and not much hamstring work. The hamstrings support the ACL a lot so in prevention and rehab, it would make sense for them to be a priority If this helped some people, my ig is @olimercerpt :)
I tore my acl just the other day and I swear it’s one of the toughest and heart breaking things that has ever happened to me ! Good luck my boi you’ll be back harder and stronger!
Spincer is working hard to accomplish his Goal to return to Nets fully healthy. Our healing prayers are with him. Fans miss him and looking forward to his comeback.
Tbh there’s no sure fire way even if he works hard for the rest of his life doesn’t specifically mean his knee will heal up to compete on elite levels. I hope he does make a full recovery though. But there’s a rift between sports science and fate. Docs told Livingston he can never play again and that science diagnosis. A miracle happened and his knee was still able to work. Now in other cases the doctor might tell you that you’ll make a full recovery but in all reality you never feel the same again.
I do get what you are saying but all he can do is a player is work hard on his recovery he can’t think about the possibility it won’t workout all he’s thinking about is that all of his hard work is gonna pay off and he’s gonna come back better than ever. People will doubt him but he’s obviously putting in the work to be the best basketball player he can be when he returns
@@yzzzzzzz7z for sure like there’s always an off chance a player doesn’t but you give yourself the best chance to come back as good or better by rehabbing and working your ass off like it looks like Dinwiddie is doing. I wish nothing but the best for him his hard work will show!
@@yzzzzzzz7z He did but that’s not the case for every player back to my point exactly. Peterson was a monster in his day but you can’t expect every athlete to make it back.
@@VeritableVagabond already in my mid 30's, i was physically active then even with smoking and drinking.. But my knee gave up and my bones became brittle.. Too late for remorse now..
Bosu balls = Risking another injury Clean stance squats = Begging for another injury Sorry, but whoever the Nets physician is overseeing this rehab, fire their ass immediately.
Firstly, this guy is rehabing from a knee injury and he can squat to a certain degree to not fuck it up again. Then basketball players generally dont have much to gain from deep squats, I'll let you do the research as to why. Theres a ton of info out there.
