Not only does he have to go through all this, he basically have to raise himself while taking care of his mom at barely 10 years old. He doesn't like to talk about his childhood or adulthood traumas and is always thinking about others before himself. His loved ones are either sick or have died in front of him. When the BAU is on break, everyone goes to do things they like to wind down, meanwhile Reid is going to his mum and doing his caretaker duties. Why is his life so sad 🥲

The 2 episodes with Tobias in season 2 are examples of FANTASTIC acting with Matthew Gray Gubler and James Van Der Beek. They did amazing and the emotion Reid portrayed is phenomenal

Anyone who withstands this much trauma in the span of fifteen years ends up severely broken unless treated and Spencer never got any lasting professional help. I get that a hurt Reid brought up the viewing numbers (they appealed to the natural instincts of women out there) but he as a character did not deserve it. Thank you for putting this together, your heart must have broken a thousand times while editing and rewatching these moments. 😢
