Only credible comment on here. Still in Seattle but it’s sort of like a libertarian utopia where most crimes aren’t even responded to anymore. The only thing keeping the place going is naive investors looking for places to put ill gotten funny money like Kev.

That's unfortunate. Hopefully you realized some decent returns. I think everything is pretty much socialized though if you think about it. Everything from persecution of crimes to bank Bailouts to "emergency fiscal policy" costs money or purchasing power, or both. Rent control, eviction moratoriums, etc. Seems like the only way to avoid counter party risk is holding bearer assets like PMs and Bitcoin but those don't produce yield. 🤔

Renton is similar to some of the seedier areas of Pompano/North Ft Laud.

I believe in looking at areas that aren't considered "nice", or "better"

@@milty66 depends on your goals I guess, mathematically I'd rather invest in an area that goes from really shitty to moderately shitty (and increases by 50%) than an area that goes from really nice to moderately nice (and decreases by 20%).

@@jeebusk sure, but it's probably safer all-around to invest in no-name areas as of 2009 ( Issaquah/Woodinville) and see it raise 400%

@@paulconner4614 because homes are just sitting from last 200 days, 150 days as no buyers and sellers don’t want to reduce eventually as homes flood the market obviously who wants to sell quickly they have to reduce the price
