I do this sort of thing too often. Your time ends up being worth essentially nothing after materials... but you have something that is unique and hopefully exactly what you wanted.

You also pickup new skills while improving your existing ones.

Glad I found your channel. Just bought a 0704 clone that I’m going to convert 👍

I also struggle with drill feeds and speeds on my cnc . I did buy a subscription to proven cut and it wow what a change. I'm not sponsored by anyone, but wanted to pass on what has worked for me. Great video, keep up the great work.

Shit, I've spent years making garbage which would have been free.

So you spent hours making a 6$ item? That’s inconceivable! To those who don’t get it, that is. I’ve spent far more time making cheaper things than this. I feel you bro. 🤣

I get it. Who has the time to wait 3 days for Amazon when you could just make it yourself in 5-6 afternoons.

G’day Jeff. Nothing like a DIY shop tool buddy. Kudos for making it manually on the Grizzly CNC. My buddy Kevin Ellingson gives me grief for starting my manual machining channel and not CNCing on my DCT channel. He reckons I’ll be blood letting with leeches next 😂. Thanks for sharing. Cheers 🍻. Hey thanks Aaron! I love both your channels, and I personally go back and forth between my 4 axis CNC machine, and my 80 year old south bend lathe 😂 Little jobs like this are relaxing after doing more complicated stuff for people I can't always share. Thanks for watching 🍻

Nah, real manual machining uses only a hacksaw, drill, tap and a file.
