Maangchi, I'm in Vietnam, currently and there are so many Korean restaurants! 😊😊 Yesterday, we had Koren BBQ with a lot of banchans, and I tried the lettuce-wrap-technique! It was perfect! ❤
Ma'am, I literally can't tell which videos are your old ones and which are your newest sometimes because you look like you haven't aged a day! I only got into korean cooking this year pretty much, but I get a nice feeling of nostalgia when I watch you anyways. Great work
I got my sister to try bulgogi yesterday and she really liked it. She’s loosely vegetarian (from being fully vegetarian but eating small amounts of meat now) so even though I’ve eaten it so many times in front of her she hadn’t tried it. I don’t know if rice syrup is available here so what can I substitute it with if I can’t find it?
A little cooking tip. When using hone spray a little cooking oil or use a napkin and dab some cooking oil on the towel and swirl it around the whole measuring cup so it slides out smooth and it's a mess everywhere.
Maangchi!!! I don’t know if you will ever read this but are there any substitutes for rice syrup? Or is it okay to leave it out? My wife are afraid it might be too sweet, we love your videos!
I don't recall the name of the place, but about a 20 minute walk out the gate of Osan AB was a fantastic Bugogi place down by the train tracks I often went to back in the 90s. So freaking good!!
All I can understand is: Garlic Hot pepper flakes Rice syrup Gougoujong(spicy paste) Water /soy sauce/black pepper Green onion...I don't know what the white stuff was..
