It's basically a MRE Hamburger! Actually, the Jalapeno Beef Patty Meal Ready to Eat is more like a spicy bacon cheeseburger. This US Military Ration is a dang tasty one once you get everything put together, something I'm sure rarely happens in the field. The only major downside is the sad sack bread. I'd happily review Menu 19 again anytime!
Thanks for watching!

Between this video and the last, I'm thinking I'm going to tuck into one of mine. A straight up favourite. Though, I prefer the tortilla version. Thanks man!

The beef patty is a salisbury steak like you buy in the grocery the process kind that you put in the oven

This menu is fascinating. A cheeseburger out of a bag! When I had this menu, I thought it was the coolest MRE ever! However, it makes an epic mess and is very hard to eat. Very good though! The newer menu 19s (starting in 2017 I think) come with 2 plain tortillas for making wraps instead of twin wheat snack bread and comes with a pack of BBQ sauce instead of ketchup and mustard. I believe that is because it is much easier to make and eat as wraps. You've gotta break the burger up into pieces or strips though. And they started including a side of potatoes au gratin, which I think were delicious! This menu is one of my favorites.

you should heat up the bread for 30 seconds or so, make it soft.

I cant wait to get a cobbler in a ration. Looked great, especially with the peanuts added!! The burger looked really good!. I'm sure the bacon cheddar was good on it but the jalapeno cheddar may have paired better? Awesome RR!

Dude that MRE cheeseburger is one of the most saltiest things you'll ever taste, if I was in the army i'd definitely trade that

Out of all the more resent MREs , this would be the one i would packout with !! Everything in this one i would enjoy but the coffee , i am not a coffee drinker so if it had a hot chocolate mix insead it would be perfect !! Thanks for the rewind Sir !!

Could you use rhe salt in the accessory pack to salt the nuts?

@@ReadinessRations That makes sense. You'd almost have to salt each handful which would be annoying.

Alright alright! That's what I hate about MRE's. The more new entries they try to develop, the more disgusting and unhealthy MRE's are. 🥵🤢😖🤮😖🤮🤢😩😫😖🤮🤮🤮🤮🥵

Looks like a good menu but I'd have had the cobbler as a dessert instead of the skittles and put mashed potatoes or potatoes au gratin instead.
