3 years later and after a long backorder you still haven't figured out the threading issue? Just purchased and the last thing I thought I would be having an issue is with threading on the bolts

So when mounting to a premium or a master touch, do you have to remove the part of the ash catcher that is connected to the kettle? I haven’t been able to find any videos of your product on a kettle with the ash catcher.
Yes, I had to remove the ash catcher. It clips onto the legs on the underside of the kettle. I haven't done anything with charcoal since I got my Spider so I don't know how hard it will be to put the ash catcher back if I decide to take the Spider off and use charcoal.
