Spider-Man: No Way Home Has The BEST Ending Possible For a Trilogy (SPOILERS) 

Watched the movie 3 times in theatre already just to be able to make this video! Full Breakdown coming up next..however, I cannot watch it in 0.25x speed yet, till Sony starts selling the digital versions. Don't worry, I will definitely watch this movie in 0.25x and find at least 100 details! 🥰

The ending was foreshadowed earlier in the movie when Dr. Strange said "The problem is you trying to live two different lives". So Peter gives up his life as Peter and lives as Spider-man, with that "fresh start" that he and MJ talked about. Sad, but brilliant

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that this movie may simply be the best movie I've seen all year

The way they showed all three spidey's swinging in their own style was the peak for me. Jon is a genius.

The ending spell doesn't just make everyone forget Peter Parker is Spider-Man. It makes everyone forget Peter Parker. Entirely. Happy Hogan remembers meeting Aunt May via Spider-Man helping with her charity. He doesn't remember Aunt May having a nephew. M.J. and Ned don't remember going to school with him at all. Peter Parker also has a G.E.D. manual in one of the boxes he moves into his new apartment. His school doesn't remember him, so there's no record of his high school diploma. He has to take a G.E.D. to get a diploma-equivalent document. Then he'll have to try to get into college. Presumably not M.I.T., since he no longer has Stark connections, has no high school records or G.P.A. to point to, and presumably has holes in his personal documentation/records.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is the perfect definition of *"A Dream Come True"*

I honestly cried a little when Peter was with Aunt May and interaction between the 3 of them on the rooftop. I'm glad they got a redemption and loved the original scores from each Spiderman movies 🥲

The only thing the movie was missing was a Stan Lee Cameo, the only spiderman movie without one. RIP Stan.

This film is a love letter to all 3 generation of Spider-Man films and it's fans. We all have are own favorites, but we are all united by this film. Marvel and Sony did the impossible.

The scene where Tom, Zendaya, and Jacob are saying goodbye really hit home. For all we know, that could be it. They could come back, but will it ever be the same? 😭

The line "With great power comes great responsibility" is like a death marker to characters xD people who says it dies xD

Imagine when Tobey's spiderman went back to his universe is, his "last words" would have been "see ya chump". That would have made fans go crazy.

This movie firmly established Spider-Man, washed away the Ironboy Jr image, bought the storyline very much close to where Tobey's Spiderman left and not to forget all the epic scenes... I mean what more can we ask for.

If you think about it, Ned knows how to do magic like Dr Strange, but can’t remember that his best friend is Spider-Man. This means that Ned could potentially become a villain in the Spiderverse.

Never been hit by with a realization that left me paralyzed like this. When the credits rolled, I got it and I love the direction they’re going with. Holland’s Spiderman, to be honest, has gone through more impactful events, like he died temporarily and came back to life lol he went through a Thanos snap, yet, he’s the youngest one out of them. This doesn’t take away the fact that the things that the first two went through were impactful and heartbreaking, but they realize they’ve all been through BS, and they’ve all lost closed ones and all THREE of them COULD’VE stopped it from happening, but they’re all innocent mistakes that are dressed in ignorance; Who would’ve known Flint would murder Ben after Tobey let him go, Andrew/Gwen’s final moment together, etc. Are all things that are meant to break them spiritually, but make them stronger. This film IS redemption. And more importantly a new beginning. The thing I came to a realization about was the title: “No Way Home”. And love that its the end of his first trilogy because the title fits right in. Holland was in a COMFORT ZONE and thats in a way “HOME” for him; If he ever needed help, he had the Avengers to back him up, he pretty much has the strongest suit out of all three Spidermen. And technology in the MCU trumps the first two’s universes. This was a way of saying Holland’s peter finished his first phase as Spiderman, he grew up. He lost Tony and May. But he didn’t have an opportunity or a chance to save Stark, it was Stark’s choice, and Tom learned the meaning of SACRIFICE through Stark, since we all witnessed him make what could be deemed as an ultimate safrifice in Endgame. With May, he could’ve been a bit more competent and he suffered the consequences. Expect a more instinct driven, more decisive, harder to tempt or manipulate Holland after this. There’s no way back to that aforementioned “Comfort Zone”; literally No Way Home. His mind is changed forever. He learned SOLITUDE from the first two Spidermen in this and realizes that he’s better off being a lone wolf to keep loved ones safe. He wanted to feel redemption and add merit to his accomplishments by ditching his Iron Spider suit and opt for a traditional, cloth based, spider suit. He lost a dad in Tony and a mom in May and his mistakes show he’s still HUMAN. He wants to truly have full control of his actions by not relying on a high tech suit. He also admired the more grounded approach Andrew and Tobey had. He is literally telling you they ARE like the Brothers, BIG brothers that he never had, like Tony and May being parent figures. And the last third of the movie shows you how, in very very little time, he evolves with their moral help and wants to be just like them in a way (I was shocked that it worked as well as it did, usually movies like this bomb storywise). Not because he wants to, but because putting the people he loves in danger again, is IRRESPONSIBLE, and with great power...well you know how it goes... Putting the lessons learned through Tony, May, and the first two Spidey’s together. You must be ready to SACRIFICE things when you have these world saving abilities, to protect the people you love because you are RESPONSIBLE for anything you might cause and if Tony could let go of his universe and die for it, Holland can sacrifice relationships to keep people safe, even if it means he rolls SOLO, iust like his Big Brothers. Edit: I like what someone said about Tom not having a ORIGIN film, he had an origin TRILOGY. And he learned different things from every character in his solo movies even villains; through Vulture/daughter situation he learned to weigh out his choices for the good of all, through Mysterio he learned about master DECEIT and BETRAYAL after it, through Green Goblin he stared TRUE EVIL in the face, sure, Thanos might’ve surpassed Goblins kill count, but he had a “moral” to do so, Goblin is just the embodiment of evil.

Now all we want is :- 1. A new tom's triology after the events of no way home... 2. Tobey's spiderman 4 3. Andrew's TAS 3

When I saw the GED study guide, my heart broke. A genius has to "learn" how to take a standardized test because their genius doesn't matter.

This isn't just Tom's third movie. It's Andrew's third too. And Tobey's better candidate for third.

I had weird feelings when Tobey and Andrew appeared in the middle of the movie. Like, you know, before watching the movie I imagined them appearing in the last moment to help Tom save the day I'm so glad they didn't take this path! Seeing the 3 spidermen interacting with each other for such a long time was a delight to my eyes

Andrew Garfield bring so much life and energy to this film, his bromance with Tobey’s Spider-Man was incredible and I’m actually hurt at the thought of not seeing them two fight villains together in the future.

nice breakdown, just wanted to say that Peter changed his mind to not tell MJ and Ned after she’d told him that her injury didn’t hurt as much anymore, greatly affecting him since she told him she was fine and wasn’t hurt at the statue of liberty. might’ve been trauma from losing May, wouldn’t want MJ to go out in the same way.

Before, I never really liked Andrew Garfield's Spider-man, however, No Way Home made me realized that it wasn't Andrew Garfield that I hated; it was the script. The movie just wouldn't be the same with just Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire. It's not because they are not good; it's just that you need 3 Spideys for the magic to work. In my opinion, best movie of 2021!

This movie did in fact brought 3 generations together to witness a once in a lifetime masterpiece. Damn the madlads did it!

*The only thing that I hope is that Peter didn't exactly throw away all of his Stark's tech that has been given to him. I mean, I get it that 50% of the audience keeps complaining about him using Stark's tech but to be honest I got no problem with it. I know that after No Way Home, he made his own suit, and went independent, Just hope that he at least still keeps some of it. Cause he might gonna need it at some point when he faces a certain opponent*

I've been thinking about Peter's decision to not tell MJ and Ned since I left the theatre... Peter didn't want MJ and Ned to suffer the consequences of being involved with Spiderman, whether it was getting rejected from colleges or MJ's head wound in the final scene. So some of it was selflessness. But Aunt May has just died because she was trying to help Spiderman out, so I wonder if some of it is from fear of further loss, and he's protecting himself from having anyone else close to him die. I don't think May, MJ, or Ned would want Peter isolating himself in this way. MJ and Ned get to have risk-free lives and go to MIT, but (I assume) Ned no longer has a best friend and MJ no longer has a boyfriend. What if Peter is what is missing in their lives? Then all three of them end up not being whole at the end of the movie because of Peter's decision to protect them (and also himself), which is tragic.

I realized after No way home that the criticism for Tom Holland's spiderman being too dependent on stark tech and there being too many people to help him out is actually the arc for his character in this trilogy. In Homecoming he was not fully in control of his powers and was struggling with the stark tech suit but by the end he proved to be not only worthy of the suit but also became much more control of his powers. In Far From Home he not only started trusting his spidey-sense he also built the suit from the fabricator that he wanted to build instead of it being pre-built which meant that he is even more in control of his powers and is now confident working alone without having anyone to fall back on. Finally in No Way Home after the death of Aunt May,he realizes that he has to take the responsibility that comes with his power without anyone being there to help him out whatsoever as he stitched his own suit from scratch without any kind of tech. The elements of "struggling with the new power then being in fully control of them", "trusting the spidey-sense", "accepting responsibility that comes with his power", "learning to sacrifice for the safety of loved ones" were explored in The first Raimi Spiderman and also The Amazing Spiderman. So when people said they didn't want another origin movie for Spiderman, John Watts gave us a origin trilogy. We got The Vulture, The Shocker, Mysterio, Doctor Octopus, Green Goblin, Lizard, Sandman, Electro and a live action spiderverse all in one trilogy without compromising on the story. I think that's genius.

This movie was so mind-blowing that at the end I thought everything I just saw was a dream. It definitely takes my spot for my favorite Spider-Man movie ever.

I really cried after this film "When aunt may died" "What peter will do without any people and friends"

Did you know: That in the scene when they were talking about their uncle ben dying when peter(Tom holland) wanted revenge and to kill green goblin for killing aunt may, It was basically a reference to spiderman into the spidervere when miles wanted revenge on king pin for killing uncle aaron.But then the spidermen said that they lost their loved ones too.

I feel that the ending of NWH is sad but yet heartwarming. Tom Holland's Spidey is lonely but he is now alot more confident than in previous films, i see in him so much hope, not despair, after so much loss he has to take. As for Tobey and Andrew's, just like TCL has stated, NWH gives them the best ending possible for their character and storyline, everything is just perfect. Marvel has truly got my respect for creating such a wonderful film, which bring me from joy to anger, then compassion, then hope, then finally, heartwarming, not much film could give me so much emotions like that.

Let’s be honest. Spider-Man is Spider-Man. And no matter what we all like Spider-Man. Best continuous series ever. From Tobey to Andrew and now Tom. Spider-Man is awesome!!!!

I noticed a thing...the villains and heroes in this film actually came from different times of their universes...all the villains came just before they were about to die or be defeated at the hands of spider-man and the two spidermen came after all those events had happened, now Holland's spiderman changed them... I mean he changed their characters entirely(the villains)...they are now basically good people...and now when they'll go back to the point whence they came... they'll just stop fighting spider man. So, this basically changes the ending of four films...Spider-Man 1,2 and TASM 1 and 2...and eventually of Tobey's Spider-man 3 too. And maybe Gwen might still be alive in Garfield's Spider-man.

Just finished watching the movie, I may be a bit late, but damn, this is definitely the greatest Spider-Man film! I teared up and felt like a kid again.

This movie has broken a fourth wall. We were always fighting that which spiderman is best but in this movie all 3 worked with each other like as brothers as said by Andrew. And also when Andrew felt that he didn't get good villains then Tobey said no you are amazing spiderman 3 times means he was saying that we all are good and delivering a message to their fans that instead of fighting just appreciate every one. 🙂🙂

The ending was perfect. It finally showed the mcu Spider-Man as a fully formed character who is now quite close to the comic version. The whole film encapsulated the selfless nature and morale of the character and when you see the final swinging scene, you actually feel THAT’S Spider-Man. There are endless possibilities for the character now I hope they go for a grittier version of Spider-Man in the college trilogy with more street fights and hopefully he goes against kingpin. This was Tom Hollands best performance till date. He brought out the essence of the character and actually fits well now. I hope it changes the haters’ opinion of his version

I’ve heard someone say this about the whole Tom Holland trilogy of spiderman movies, I believe they said that his whole trilogy has been his origin story, which is him learning that with great power, comes great responsibility.

The ending to this film got to me emotionally, Peter saying goodby to Ned and MJ before everyone forgets who he is and what they went through was so well acted by Tom Holland and the other actors!

The way that the final battle had all three of them working together so well was amazing. And the one time that they were swinging around and one of them pulled the other two towards them to propel themselves was great

Ich think this was a better crossover than Endgame. After I saw that all three Spidys are suppose to show up, I decided to watch the movie in theater and it was so worth it. Every time a character from another universe was revealed, I just smiled for five minutes straight.

The ending broke my heart during the moment, but as I began to process the movie afterwards, I realized why the creators chose this ending: flexibility. Nobody knows what is going to happen with Tom Holland’s character. Even the producers and Holland himself don’t seem to be certain about their intentions for the future. This ending cuts his ties from the existing MCU but they can be reconstructed. In other words, there are now more options available. Holland’s Peter Parker can return to the MCU; become a member of the Sony Marvel “universe” with Morbius, Vulture, and the piece of symbiote left by Venom; or just be left as is at the end of No Way Home. (I put quotation marks around “universe” because they are technically in the same universe as MCU.)

The whole movie was PERFECT! It's the best thing to come out of a Spider-Man movie, worth it

Exactly my thoughts. This triology signified the END of the Peter Parker who was in the guidance of someone like Tony or Nick or Strange. This is a new Experienced Parker who has to fight his battles on his own.

Fun fact. Dr Strange said there were 6 rings when Peter said 5. The reason there was another ring was for Steven Strange. He didn't want to forget Peter

The scene when Andrew jumped down and caught MJ gave me a very strong emotion, it is difficult to describe that feeling. I almost cried watching that scene. It's my favorite scene, I could replay it hundreds of times.

Tobey "defeated" Andrew by shooting at Andrew's webshooter. Mann, I literally had a goosebump when that happened. And when Tobey stopped Tom from going rage at the end of the movie, it simply shows that Tobey is the most mature Spidey. He "defeated" Andrew, and he taught Tom. Tobey is like the Capt America of Spiderman

Un-person: Doctor Strange attempts a spell with a minor version of this, people forgetting that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, but Peter mucks things up. *It ultimately only gets fixed by getting straight into the trope, and people forget about Peter Parker altogether - only Spider-Man remains in their memories.*

also a detail that when tom visits mj we can see mj wearing a band aid even tho she only had a scratch whereas peter was injured heavily ,got shot and also broke his ribs and still has no injuries shows how fast his healing factor is

I was praying for a scene where Andrew saved MJ in the same scenario that he failed to save Gwen and I was not disappointed

This movie is astonishing. Perfect ending, amazing cgi, web swinging, one of the best fight scenes. Overall 10/10.

The trilogy really does flow together, Homecoming starts it off with Peter trying his hardest to be like Tony, Far From Home shows us Peter failing to fulfil that role, and No Way Home shows Peter accepting the fact that he can't fulfil the role, and needs to become his own person. I love this whole trilogy, even more than the other two (fight me, idc what yall think). This ending was perfect, although I don't think it's going to stay as an "ending" forever.

This was a very heart warming movie. I felt so overwhelmed with emotions when Toby Mcguire appeared from that magical portal. To see him after all these years reminded of the first spider man movie as I was watching this movie in the theater. I was trying hard not to shed a tear as I went to watch this movie alone by myself.

This movie is the reason why Spider-Man is my favorite superhero. Despite everything that he's been through, he always tries to find a way to help others even when it doesn't benefit himself. Throughout the second half of the movie, he tries everything he can to help the villains even though what happens to them aren't on his shoulders, he even fought Strange due to his beliefs that everyone deserves a chance, even when they go back to their evil personas, he's still willing to help them. Especially in the ending, he makes the ultimate sacrifice of making everyone forget him so he can save everyone and so he can protect his friends. Peter has the heart of a true hero and while I love Andrew and Tobey, I have to say that Tom is a perfect representation of the web slinger.

It just blew my mind did I finally understand Homecoming and FFH. I was especially annoyed with FFH and it still has its problems but it absolutely blew my mind that they were trying to tell Spider-Man’s origin of responsibility in a trilogy and not the first hour of the first movie. Aunt May was his Uncle Ben. And knowing that made this trilogy amazing!

The ending is both amazing and same time sad. The best part is Tom Peter proves that he can make things happened and learned from his mistakes in order to grow in life and the sad part is that he had to gave up his life and identity towards the people he love by erasing their memories unveil the true identity of spider man plus making his friends will no longer know him as a true friend especially MJ as his gf. That really sucks but Peter thinks twice rather than him reveal his identity or leave it for the sake of the world's peace and safety.

the last swing in his new homemade suit made me remember Tony Stark once saying "If you're nothing without the suit then you shouldn't have it". Since in the end Peter Parker is "nothing" and literally nobody knows him, he makes his own suit, even though he still has the integrated suit along with the rest of Stark's technology. Plotwise, Spider-man No Way Home is the culmination of all Spider-men movies that have been shown in the past, this movie would not exist without the previous Spider-men movies and they brought it to full circle.

This has been my childhood dream bro. Seeing all the Spider-Man in one movie. When Tom Holland came in and acted Spider-Man man I was even more happy. Thank u Marvel and Sony for doing this

Andrew Garfield is an AMAZING actor! It's just such a shame he had to play in such a disappointing movie! I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who sees it's not his fault! Man.. first time that all the months of theories, and leaks.. building up these expectations, just to finally be met on the spot. Mando season 2 had a very similar build up to NWH for me, and the product was perfect. This being a theater experience, and Spider-Man in general, blows that away. What an experience it was in the theater to, after the last couple of years we all have had, with Covid and such…. This was very needed for the end of the year, and my hope for the future is actually positive af for once.

It meant so much to Spidey fans (myself included) to see not just the original villains (who were amazing casting individually much less as an ensemble) but also Andrew... and Tobey!!!! Even though we had these high expectations, seeing it realized and surpassed was truly fulfilling and mind blowing!
