Always was, and always will be, a comedy genius.

This man always has me in tears. The ending had me in hysterics. Comic genius.

Utter comedy gold! 💗 RIP a truly funny man.

Utter madness. He was brilliant

No one else could have got away with this.The opening line floors me.Never be another!!

The word genius was made for him. He went before so many great comedians and shone the way for them.

I always thought it was charming that they kept Spike corpsing, shows it was obviously first-take stuff, and the audience is actually really reacting to him rather than being forced to laugh after 39 takes.

I love it when Spike corpses or tries not to, makes him even funnier

Wacky wonderful

Spike just had funny bones. He didn't need to say anything to get a laugh. When he just wanders out of shot, bewildered, on his own in Life of Brian, it made me laugh. I wish the dancing in a dustbin song was longer! Xx
