I’ve been waiting 10 years for this cult to be called out, it took over my workspace/friend group/social scene in Austin Tx years ago and I couldn’t believe it. Can you imagine? It was like the emperor’s new clothes, everyone was just acting like it was normal and ignoring that people were being traumatized, and the entire premise was repulsive and insane. I remember asking a group of my ‘friends’, “have ya’ll never heard of a sex cult before?!” They couldn’t imagine I was dissing the group, no one dared. It infiltrated the juice bar crowd, lots of psychosis & sexual abuse in that group.

If it becomes common knowledge that such a STROKE of business is part of answering the "calling", I can see the ranks of monkhood SWELL disproportionally in a very short time, but WILT equally fast, when the law enforcement catches up eventually. @@pebblepod30 from the perspective of perhaps a minority who doesn’t feel respected by white people and then someone uses a part of their culture for their own gain (even going as far as to start a sex cult with themes of other cultures intertwined), it may seem harmful or hurtful. it may seem petty to you but it’s an experience people do have. i think it’s a valid thing to feel especially if in your life you’re treated poorly because of your culture/race & parts of you are seen as worthy of being copied by white people while others are totally not respected. just because you have not experienced it doesn’t mean it can’t be harmful

Better to walk away early and no one gets hurt. She was looking for someone who wanted nothing to do with her business but would be able to have a relationship with her. I do not think that would ever be possible in this case but some desperate guys out there would attempt to act as if it didn't bother them. My guess is that she was validated in other ways, or she had sexual trauma in her background, so this became her maladptive way of addressing it. My original thought was that she was a ruthless, clever business woman, but in light of what you said, she may have had her own sexual demons to deal with.
