The Goodwood Motor Circuit was founded from the permimiter track of RAF Westhampnett, a WW2 airfield that flew Spitfires during the Battle of Britain. What a fantastic display by a fantastic aircraft but when are these commentators (not just this one) going to learn that when a Spitfire is talking you should NEVER interrupt or talk over the top of her. All the way through I was thinking please please just shut up, your ruining it & I would think most other people were thinking that too & especially those at Goodwood itself. It's not often you get to see & hear that beautiful sound of British design & engineering at it's best & normally it's just for only a small five minutes anyway, so please commentators, be professional, some of your information is very interesting but keep it brief & wait until the lady has finished speaking!

An amazing aircraft, but to call this an amazing aerobatic display is stretching it a bit. Not one proper loop or even an aileron roll. I suppose taking a ~75 year old aircraft through even half the paces it performed while in service would be stretching it a good bit. Again, the Spitfire was an amazing aircraft and played a huge role in winning the war..

I doubt you'd get certification for a full aerobatic display in public. I'm not sure the owner would want you to. That's a Battle of Britain aircraft worth millions of pounds. Just to see it flying is magnificent. I know Ray Hannah took his spitfire down the race track straight at Goodwood full throttle at about 60ft. The safety officers said NEVER AGAIN!
