here is how it went: she called ahead, they did say they had the dress, she flew in, they hid it or kept it aside to highlight how set on it she was, then pulled it out and she said yes, not just because she likes it, but because she is happy she got her way in the end. Props to her for knowing what she wants, I don't think she was nearly as rude as she could have been. But the episode definitely doesn't paint a flattering picture of her

There's a difference between knowing what you want and being spoiled AF. Congrats to her for finding her dress, but prayers for whoever says no to her because she obviously has never heard that word before.

This girl is not a bridezilla. After watching the big day episode I have so much respect for her. She’s a girl who knows exactly what she wants and knows how to take charge in a stressful situation.

It’s nice to see a wealthy bride who not only works, but also has good taste. Her “Big Day” episode was low-drama, you can tell she and her fiancé genuinely cared for each other, and her wedding was classy and tasteful instead of looking like a Barbie factory threw up all over the reception. She may be spoiled, but she isn’t a brat.

It's awesome that she not only got to try on her dream dress, but also that it measured up to her expectations! Having said that, I'm very grateful that my mother told me no enough times while growing up.

Seems as though this "princess" doesn't know how to dial a phone and call to see if the dress is in the shop before she flies to New York.

I think some people need to learn the real meaning of 'depression', 'disaster', 'emergency' and 'need'.

So she's spoiled and knows what she wants. We didn't see her being unkind or mean to anyone. When her family preferred other dresses, she didn't attack them for choosing wrong. Her mom joked about them "not having to live with her" but it doesn't mean she's an actual nightmare. She seemed really sweet and understanding, but there was only one dress after LOTS of searching that she truly wanted.

I LOVED that she knew what she wanted. I wish I had that character trait.

Very satisfying to see it all work out in the end. While I do value her decisiveness and her ability to stand up for what she wants, I find her lack of consideration to her family and the entire staff unbearable. Her family traveled from another state just for this event, and her bluntly saying if she can't try on that one dress that she's not going to want anything else. She was not willing to open her mind to anything else- making the entire world stop around her just to please. She gave no apologies whatsoever. She was very demanding, rude, iconsiderate, and impatient. And of course this may be the consultant's job and they signed up for this, that does not dismiss that girl's behavior or justify it. The consults are people too, very kind and patient people. They deserve basic decency and shouldn't be held to unrealistic expectations.

When my daughter got married she chose a straight beaded gown, but it did have a beautiful flair detachable skirt train that made her look like the Princess I imagined. She tried on a beautiful lace and beaded Cathedral length veil that was stunning. It was $500 but I felt she HAD TO HAVE IT. So I paid for it. That was almost 24 years and three grandchildren ago. I bet that veil today would cost well over a thousand!

Her parents raised her to be a spoiled drama queen, it’s a way to flaunt their wealth. I worked with young people who wore a $25,000 diamond Rolex & thought spending $16,000 on 1 set of bedding was a great deal but were down to earth, their parents made them work part-time while in college (I worked with them in the small company) & do household chores.

The thing is, she knew what she wanted. They made this episode more dramatic than it needed to be. Previous episodes show brides who don’t know what they want, then they are called “difficult”, this girl comes in knowing what she wants and somehow she’s also difficult, or spoiled? People don’t understand the pressure of being a woman to begin with, then we are told it’s “our day” but when we want things a certain way, we are “spoiled.” Costs and money vary between people, for those who say that is a down payment on a house, well, there are cultures that go big on weddings that are extravagant, it’s almost irrelevant to compare your priorities to their family values.

Her dream dress was awful, and I didn't find her attitude endearing. " You have to find the dress" " You don't have to live with her, I do." I would get fired, because I would have said " I don't have to jump through hoops of fire for this spoiled brat, and it's a good thing that she never lived with me, because she would have heard the word " NO!!" more than once, and I may have even told her that if she couldn't find anything in her home state, then she was out of luck, and she was chipping in for her wedding too. My daughter was spoiled, and so was I, but not like this. My Momma would have turned to me, and asked me if I saw anything else that I liked, and I would have looked, and tried on, and I would have done the same thing with my daughter. Maybe it's because I'm also looking at her wedding venue, and thinking that with all the money being spent on a wedding, why not just buy a nice white dress, go to the court house, and have a reception, or party afterwards, and the money that you would spend on a wedding, you could use to make a down payment on a house.
