I'm glad you came up with Dragon Spec. It's sometimes fatiguing just seeing builds that focus a lot on high power. This is pretty much what I want my build to be.
I love high horsepower cars. They're a blast, but my eg, ef, and da that i have, they're all going "dragon spec". But ive been building them since before he made the dragon spec thing!
You don’t have to explain to the haters, you got the true Vatos here that likes what u put down, all wheels are real to me, yea some brands hold they’re name and quality might be better but like I said do you buddy, love the DA not just bec I got one, spoon brakes are nice touch, I’m rocking the stoptech on mine
I’m completely on board with the rota statement. You took the words right out of my mouth. Another nice point is that if you completely wreck a wheel finding a single or pair of replacement rota slipstreams are extremely affordable and easy to track down! I’m currently in the process of ordering a set for my car as we speak
Had rota slips on my DA in the early 2000's and loved the look...bought them again for my EG I have now...yea they are knock offs but I cant justify the cost of regas, the fit is great, not too heavy...major nostalgia for me, who cares what people think
I flippin love DA integras! I also love that you are wearing a deadbeats hat! Shout out to deadbeat fam! Also shout out to HondaStreetGarage! Please continue with the DA content!
Get in there man. Integras are some of the most fun cars to work on! I've had alot of different cars but I just picked up my fourth Integra (Currently own two) and they are so much fun!
I wouldn't switch to the TSX pad if you are using the Spoon calipers, the pad over run doesn't seem to be an issue with the ITR pads on spoon calipers with the mini cooper rotor. The rotor spacing on the Mini Cooper rotor is similar to the 5 lug setup which is why the washer fits the same way. If you use a redrilled 4x114 rotor or a spoon rotor, I think the washer goes the other way and it may need a spacer behind the rotor too.
I dig the black wheels way better than the white wheels. It’s your car, you do what pleases you. I think you should match your rear calipers with the spoon front calipers. Can’t wait to see what is the next project!
I actually think the wheel look great on there the best look so far I feel the same way I have had top brand wheels on my db2 and now I'm back running GSR blades on it
Man where u grab these reps?! I’m looking for a set for the Ef wagon! I’m located in Fl just moved here!! I love that everyone is still rockin the Hondas around here!
Totally agree with the wheel comments. Especially the shape of the new regas, really don’t like the new shape either, they shouldn’t have changed something that was already perfect!
Those dual piston calipers look sick man! Wish I had a clean DA like yours. Mine is clapped and I can't be putting $1700 brakes on my $1700 car lol ONE DAY!!
I agree with the Hondas-aren’t-drag-cars thing! I believe exactly the same thing. I feel like once you get over 300-325hp, the Hondas just don’t feel right.
any chance you may know of these calipers bolt up to the 90-91 civic ex knuckles? i can’t find shit anywhere and i think i’m gonna order a set in the next few weeks. thanks in advance, car looks great.
Totally agree Fuck what the haters say about real or fake wheels. I’m a black Rota slip fan myself. Don’t have any. Still rocking my stock gsr blades 👍🏾 them spoon calipers look good. Too bad they didn’t come red and black also
No smashing your Rotas from me. You can have a set of 700 dollar rims stolen or 3000 dollar rims. Thats the way I see it. As for the calipers the spoon name is cool to have on your car however the fitment of the Wilwood brakes I bought are so much better. No grinding tabs, no spacers, single bolt pad removal. They clear oem EM1 rims with zero mods and they are insanely strong! In this case performance wise for me the spoons just didn't make the cut. Your project car is looking incredible. I'm digging the white badges. One of a kind👍
Nice setup 😎 I just want to ask if for safety is good to use threadlocker blue? .. I’m saying this bcuz one time my calipers bolts they came loose even after putting them to the specified torque 🫤 and after I used it no more problems
Who gives a shit if wheels are 'real' or 'fake'. People are annoying as hell, acting like it's high school all over again. If anything, I chuckle a little whenever I see the SHEEP all lined up at car meets with their TE37's. To each their own.
